Harvey should have been pulled after the walk on 4 pitches. Now there's every chance the bullpen can blow it.

well, that didn't work out very well

and I agree, if you walk Gerald Laird on 4 pitches and you have a pitch count over 100, that should be an automatic hook.

Same thing I was thinking when I saw it.

McCann coming in rather than Upton because they need McCann in the game anyway to catch (Laird appears to be hurt).

Plus he's a lefty, so when the Mets went to Hawkins...

well, he did get an out before giving up the inevitable hit

Wright playing very shallow this inning, led to a couple of hits

Wright with his third awful decision on a bouncer in this game (on one of them he overran the ball but was lucky enough to be able to glove it).

Parnell with the 4-out save to get the win for Harvey.

Harvey charged with THREE runs but gets a win anyway. Unusual for the Mets.

Terry Collins has bad players this is true but he's a bad manager. I've seen enough of him to think that a fair thing to say.

I though for sure that Collins was not going to put Parnell in for the 8th inning. I was shocked when he did.

There's like no one at the ballpark. What an eyesore.

It does look like Citi Field  Good first start for Wheeler. They put 2 on the board. Let's see if he can get the W.

Well, certainly no one thought the Mets bullpen could protect a two-run lead for 3 innings, did they?

No chance they hold it. Even if they get out of the 7th.

I imagine after the game Harvey will go to Wheeler, "better get use to it buddy."

Shocking developments in the top of the 8th - we might actually see that Harvey/Wheeler double header sweep.

Seaver and Koosman, er, Harvey and Wheeler with the double header sweep!

Mets played three complete games in a 24 hour period, and should have won all three.

Two different batters diving into first base within 5 minutes of each other. How is it possible that major league players are incapable of understanding that simple physics proves that it is faster to run to a base than to dive to it?
