All this basically means is that Bradway's role is greatly diminished. Based on the Jets mediocre draft record over the last 7 years, he shouldn't be employed here anymore but it sounds like he'll have limited input in constructing this roster. He'll write up a few scouting reports but Idzik will have final say.
Definitely not the architect of the draft, that begins and ends with Idzik as the GM. Bradway will give his input but Idzik will have final say on draft day. This sounds more like a lame duck move than anything else. Woody or someone high up in the Jets loves Bradway. The guy is bullet proof in this organization for some strange reason.
Part of running the company is running the draft. That's the job of every GM in the NFL. The draft reports come from Bradway's desk, Idzik reviews them and uses them as part of his final evaluation on whom the Jets will draft.
