Or he needed to be informed of what Jets West actually is... because why would a rookie from WVU know about Jets West? You know, like Geno said.

That's gotta be a trick question.

Despite that, I take him very seriously.

He knows what he's talking about. He may differ in opinion from where myself & others might be, but he sticks to his guns.

I love the way he spins shit as well.

His spelling and grammar are suspect sometimes, but he may be typing on horseback.

I hated Schotty as well, and probably more than you did. I spent two full weeks breaking down the first 09 Bills game to show why I hated him so much.

But you are blaming OCs far too much in this case. Sanchez was making great progress in the early part of 2010 before the Ravens game that changed everything. That pinched nerve, combined with quarterback shellshock, he lost any moments he had for his development. It was mental and physical. Same thing happened last season, but much earlier.

I spent years hoping that Chad would come back getting his physical ailments to be the guy he was before and he never did.

I'm done with that. I hope Sanchez figures things out this year early and keeps it up, but if he doesn't, I don't want him under center.

Geno-fer Lopez, masters the art of Diva Doublespeak, faster than droppinback from under center :rofl2:

(laxin, humor aside...my point was about the absurd NY sports media, not Smith)

Gary Meyers retarded column is more pot stirring absurdity.

Comparing (and thereby placing expectaions on) Geno, to number one pick Eli Manning...

Yes, Idzik spent a "high draft pick" on a QB. 39? the NY sports media is beyond parody when it comes to Jets coverage.

We agree at the last sentence, I just have more faith in my obsevation of the exigent circumstances.

I dont buy the shell shocked argument. I watched OBrien disintegrate. He was shellshocked.
Go back, and watch Sanchez carve up Schottys rams, after taking 4 early sacks.

Not Shellshocked.(yes, it was only 15/20) but they didnt pass for the last 9 minutes of the game.)

Get back to me, after your oh fer against Sanchez this season.

    Tannehill. Theres a QB.

I said two things about this season, Garrard, you remember him right, the guy that beat out Fannyhill.... Would not see opening day as the Starter. And Sanchez would.

    Im already batting .500

But, really....The fact is, why would I care if anyone takes me seriously, its a pretty sad commentary on your psyche, that being taken seriously on an internet forum, particularly a sports forum, would even occur to you to be a question....I guess your ridiculous attempts at ridicule are amusing to you......because you you think you're ready to move up in class from phinheaven, the internet special olympics.

Actually--that was the 2011 season but you are absolutely correct.

That Baltimore game in 2011 was when the progression of Sanchez stopped and the regression began.

He go killed that game and he was never the same.

    Back on topic.

I just think it would be awkward on everybodies part if Geno attended.

The WR's and RB's would talk to Geno and Sanchez would be up in arms thinking they are choosing sides and vice versa. Since it is Sanchez's camp, I am sure he would take more than 50% of the snaps leaving Geno to sit there and watch.

I feel like this would split the offensive skill positions into two sides more than bring them closer together. I could see the younger guys (Hill, Kerley) graviting to Geno and the vets (Holmes,Cumberland, Ivory, Goodson) gravitating to Sanchez.. We don't need a split like this. We need everyone to work together and Geno being at Jets West would be detrimental.

Geno should stay out in Jersey and just study study study that playbook. Work on his footwork. Come into training camp guns blazing.

And lets not kid ourselves like Geno didn't know what Jets West was. Your telling me he didn't follow the NFL while he was in college? He knew damn well what it was.

You think a kid playing QB in West Virginia would know about Sanchez's California practices with his receivers? Why?

Hell, I bet most NFL fans wouldn't even know...... I know I couldn't give a shit what other teams QBs do in the offseason

Geno's decision to head west is as much political as it is logical. He's fighting the "Diva" tag and going to California to train with his competition goes a long way to dispelling that view. The uproar over the "no-comment" comment speaks volumes about the scrutiny this young man, and the team overall, is under this season.

Everytime you turn on ESPN the Jets are the first thing you see for the most part. If he didn't know at WVU he surely did some research about the team when he was drafted by us. His agents probably made it aware to him at one point and told him to say no comment.

Geno-fer Lopez. The media in this town is fucking ridiculous.

50 year old assholes, preying on semantic missteps by kids learning new high profile jobs.

Look, the simple fact is, Geno isnt seeing significant time this year, barring disaster, and while NFL rules prohibit OTA, at the time Jets West happens, It would be perfectly reasonable for him to skip it to workout and study film in Florham Park. Doesnt hurt for him to attend either...making a story out of it, is scummy.

Its clear I am all in on Sanchez starting, but the treatment of Smith, by the media is horrendous.

Gary Myers writes a column insisting REX MUST GO TO GENO. Then proceeds to compare him to Eli.

    Yeah, no pressure there.

One guy picked at 39 the other a number one overall, whose father and brother are NFL QBs. Geno hasnt even taken significant snaps from under center, so either Myers is a fucking idiot, or an asshole....there is no third option.

So, consider the next story line. Sanchez sucks, and Geno couldnt beat him out, he must really suck.

FCOL, i would bet that half of the guys picked at 39, arent even with the team that picked them.

But, hey....Geno needs to be Atlas, today, putting Jetsnation on his shoulders.

Because IMHO everything you said is simply wrong.

Wrong for the team, wrong for Geno.
