I was not debating the veracity of your statement. I just don't want you to sound dumb in front of your GG brethren by using incorrect terminology. Hate on. _
It baffles me how we have a 10,000+ post thread about the QB competition, yet EVERY single other thread turns into a QB debate anyway. As someone who's been coming to this site for reliable Jets news for nearly a decade, it is damn frustrating to see it in every thread. Seriously, this is for OTA news, so stay on topic. Not trying to come across like a mod wannabe or an asshole, but I'm just so sick of it. I feel like I'm surrounded by 14 year olds. I know others have asked, but there haven't been really any answers. How did the backs look? How is the o-line competition going? (Assuming badly, with all the QB sacks by no name players) Besides Cro, are any cb's stepping up? Come on...
I thought we had a Sanchez thread for this. It seems like every single thread ultimately dissolves into a Sanchez vs. Geno fight. This is getting out of hand. I guess I should go back to reading beat reporter articles for my OTA news?
 Thank you good sir. It is especially rough for us out of state fans, seeing as how we don't have local tv, or the paper to get news from. Side note: Wearing my Jets shorts I won from TGG pick em league atm. I wear them literally at least 4-5 nights a week. I LOVE them. Thanks Petro!
i concur with NYJATW, i care way more about the other players. the thing that blows is the beat writers only care about the quarterbacks. i care way more about how hayden smith, sheldon richardson, chris ivory, and zach rogers are doing, but they never talk about them
Here is a link to Gang green nation. One of the members went to mini camp today and gave some feedback on what he saw. He did a better job than any of our beat reporters. http://www.ganggreennation.com/2013/6/11/4418582/new-york-june-11-minicamp Cheers,
I've heard that Goodson's been playing well during OTA's but strangely I've hard very little on our supposed first running back. Whats Ivory up to? Hows our running attack look? It may well be the best part of our offense and theres nothing on it. Is he hurt or something?
^ good link bloke. nice to get a fresh view from a fan that was there. sounds like winslow had a good day. if he can hold up t.e. becomes a positive
awesome post bloke, i really appreciate it. this guy really wrote some good stuff that was actually interesting and important. seems like winslow did a good job today and the d-line was crazy awesome
I thought it was necessary to mention Sanchez and Geno today. I believe I also mentioned some other things as well.
Sorry I just need a post count of 10...1 more. I see that since we have such a young pair of RB's that we should be solid in that department. They are doing well, so there probably isnt much to say.
Totally agree. That was my feedback to this tread on # 415. Funny thing though, the bashing continued here on a day where Sanchez did very well, so nothing stops some of these fans from polluting every thread no matter what. But, thanks to a fan that was there, we now know that Winslow looked great, Mo was unstopable, receivers dropped a lot of passes, both MacNight and Powell were spot on as receivers coming from the backfield. Good God there is life beyond the QB after all.
yeah lets not talk about anything that might be working out for us or anything. The top 3 WR will do alright, but I'm not too confident the rest can be depended on. A good running game with a decent receiving capability could make up for having a relatively weak WR and TE corp when it matters. Ivory, Goodson, Powell,McKnight and probably even T-Bo (that rookie FB) could be this offenses life line.
I hope we get some info on the O-line performance tomorrow. For some reason, I don't think this unit is going to be solid going into the year- even after having an O-line heavy draft. It doesn't even seem like our draft picks on the OL are playing with the first team- just the random FA we picked up.
Thanks! Here's some quotes from the person who saw the OTAs: Good to hear that Winslow is doing good. He could be our savior at TE. Sounds like Stephen Hill made some good grabs as well.
