Hahaha this is great. Also both teams were top 10 in 3pt FGA I believe. So much for all those guys saying you can't win shooting the 3 a lot. It's a key component to the NBA game today.
I wonder what the spread will be for the next game. I can't see anything more than -3 or -4 for San Antonio, but I could also see it lower and at/or around 2 again because Vegas knows everyone will hop on Miami to win the next game.
two of the elite three point shooting teams in the NBA but I was hearing more of the "all the good teams shoot threes well, you have to shoot them well to win" (announcers harping on this all playoffs) Memphis and Indiana were two of the final four
If there was ever a time to just end a game early, this is the time. Also, TV is going to be unbearable over analyzing this blowout and Lebron's play or lack of it. Just as it was leading up to this game with the Heat blowout. It's the first to 4 wins. SA halfway there.
Memphis and IND got key 3 point shooting, but they were also teams built in the opposite way of the smaller teams that relied on 3 point shooting. They were the other extreme, not a lot of teams can get 2 talented big men that can play 2 ways extremely well.
neither of those teams had anyone who shot the 3 particularly well SA and Miami each have like 4 guys who could be the best shooter on those teams
Miami ML Thursday night  I was really contemplating hopping on MIA to win the Series for even money when they were down 1-0 but I backed off and decided to stick to game by game plays.
Indiana 22nd in the NBA, Memphis 24th so the conference finals each pitted an elite shooting team against a poor shooting team
Heat had problems from the start. Millers 5/5 hid that at halftime. Like I said after the Heat beat us, each game is its own entity, game 4 will be close.
I know, but they had players some players play well and shoot better than they had all season from 3 to help out from teams collapsing inside. They didn't have good shooters, but they had shooters who were shooting good. I mean look at the IND/MIA series even, George shoots 36% from 3 in the regular season, 44% in the IND/MIA series. George Hill shot 38% from 3 in the regular season, 44% in the IND/MIA series.
