Calvin Johnson? Who the hell is going to throw the ball to him?

    I'll take Andrew Luck please.

No QBs allowed. Otherwise I'd have said Aaron Rodgers.

I can't argue with the majority of votes with Johnson - my first thought was that it has to be RB or WR but as many have noted, RBs just come and go too quick these days. So that leaves WR and how could you choose anyone over Megatron? The dude is superhuman and has the best nickname in football.

I don't like the idea of TE even though we do need a lot of help at the position. The Jets have just never been able to make the most out of the quality TEs that they've had over the years.

    AJ Green or Von Miller.

If QB's were allowed the obvious answer is Luck over every other player in the league.

    Hypothetically, QBs allowed Aaron Rodgers.

But since they are not, I would go offense and WR. Calvin seems like a good choice. I know RBs shelf lives are low, but AP would be very tempting or Arian Foster because of the question mark we have at QB. We don't want to grab a WR and have him suffer like Larry Firz. I guess I would still go running back even and AP makes sense. The Vikings used him to grab a playoff berth

I guess I should have read the OP. I'm not picking a WR or RB for obvious reasons so I'll go defense and take Von Miller.

I was going to say Aaron Rodgers without a doubt until I got to the end of the OP and saw no QBs. If he was on the Jets, we'd be Super Bowl contenders.

Probably AP. Having a RB with that kind of superstar talent forces the opposing defenses to guard more against the rush freeing up the passing game. That'd be great since our WRs seem to have trouble getting open at times.

I'm a big Julio Jones fan (Guy carried my fantasy team on his back last year) and am extremely impressed with his effort on the field. He'd be my number 2 choice at this point.

Last but not least, my third choice would be JJ Watt. Almost all of Houston's success last year came from Watt's play. 20.5 sacks last year. He's tall, he's very fast, he's extremely strong, he jumps high to bat down passes. He's everything you could ask for in a pass rusher.

As many have said: has to be Peterson or Megatron. I'd go Peterson just because he could help our current QB's not have to make as many plays.

Yeah, I read it. But, if I had to pick it another spot it would be Jason Witten. Can block and catch the ball.

with calvin you really don't even need a QB. this dude is so talented that if you just chuck the ball up, he'll come down with it. its exactly what stafford does when hes in trouble

Agree with Ray Rice. But I would take Jamaal Westermann back too. :)

Yeah, I don't think there's any other player in the league that will help us as much as he would. I do consider JJ Watt, and Von Miller, but our defense is fine. The offense needs help. Adrian Peterson would be nice, but with the type of system we're putting in, a WR like CJ would be sick. Pipe dream of course. I'd be happy just bringing back Braylon Edwards. I have a feeling Idzik doesn't like him, however.

Calvin Johnson would make the QB better, just as he has done with Stafford. He's the type of dude that can have 2-3 guys near him and he'll just out muscle them all to get the catch. Sanchez could just toss the ball in his general vicinity and he'd catch it most of the time. He is similar to a young Plaxico, with the difference, of course, being that he's in his prime and not over the hill. CJ + Holmes together would be absolutely dominating, especially when you throw Kerley and Hill into the mix to go deep or work the slot.

^ that. Nacho had good Chemistry with Edwards. Megatron is Edwards on Barry Bonds Steroids.....

Think about the possibilites, megatron, Hill, Kerley in the slot.

    Luck?

    Over Rodgers,Brees,Manning,Brady, and Roethlisberger?
    Yeah.oooookay....

Just a quick reminder...Luck looked better than advertised in a weak division. Got his ass beat by the Jets.

Gotta say AP. Honestly we could cut Sanchez and just direct snap to him every play and we'd improve, no need for a QB.

If not AP I'd go Ray Rice and Megatron coming in third place, mostly due to the fact that even though he would help he still has a crappy QB and supporting cast.

If QBs were allowed then I'd go with Rodgers for sure.

Yeah I'd take him over all of those guys. He's way younger than them all.

You're the guy who has been endlessly defending Sanchez aren't you? Just saying...
