not necessarily stupid.....I. tend to agree. i know all you Torts haters out there disagree, but the style the Rangers played at least pushed back against a Bruin team that is clicking on all cylinders.....Hank helped of course versus the jokers they have tending goal in Pitt....but Bruins had to break a sweat to win at least,,,even though it was a 4-1 series, one OT win, and 2 one goal games basically......the only real one sided game was hat 5-2 clusterfuck which is known to me as the Girardi affair. to think, Toronto was 4-1 up in the third of Game 7...... yis= bitter Devil fan ; ) Pit gets down early in this game and color this one a sweep.
That's not true, there are lots of players around the league I like. Hell, I even like a few of the Maple Leafs players. (Speak it softly, but I quite like their team overall right now. They play good tough hockey and they don't act like little bitches.) What I don't have time for is divers, or wind up merchants and cheap shotters who are too pussy to answer the bell. In fairness Keith isn't afraid to go toe-to-toe, I may have been a little harsh on him. I like Carter's game but he is a bit of a coward.
B's have killer instinct, Guins will have to survive the 1st 10 minutes, which I don't think they can do
I disagree, I don't think this will be a sweep. I think they'll win at least as many as the Rangers did. But if you're judging teams by how well they did against the Bruins, then Toronto must've been better than the Rangers.
Never thought this would be a sweep but they were outplayed twice badly at home, B's defense is stifling them, something has to change drastically, probably a subpar game by Rask, who Crosby made the mistake of pissing off in game 1
Toronto got into Rask's paint and got nasty with the Bruins' defense, they're a really physical side. Pittsburgh have a good forecheck and they use it to get a lot of clean pucks to the point, but they don't really work at getting into the goalie's grill and as a result, Boston's D are finding it much easier to keep his lines of sight open. The Isles and Sens gave up a lot of odd man rushes which is where Pittsburgh's snipers are going to kill you, Boston aren't doing that. Also, they're forcing Crosby into places he doesn't want to be, they're not letting him have the fast exit and as a result he's trying to force plays that aren't really on. Look at the amount of times he has given the puck away. Boston finished the regular season on a pretty crappy run but they've got their mojo working now, and Julien is comprehensively outcoaching Bylsma.
Obviously, but as you know the Penguins are not subject to the same disciplinary procedures as the rest of the league.
This game feels like two kids playing NHL the video game. Just back and forth no stoppages, crazy chances. Fun game though
Feels like the Bruins have the Penguins on the ropes here. All the Penguins looked gassed and the Bruins have been controlling play. Only 1:48 left in the first OT
