http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_...rodriguez-ryan-braun-part-miami-investigation Cano not on the list yet, but 2 other Yankees and 3 former Yankees are.
Braun, Nelson Cruz, Peralta, Grandal... wow, some legit players on the list (in the past, they'd often nail minor leaguers and bad players like Jason Grimsley). But some of these are repeat offenders, so not so surprising. Braun, A-Roid, Colon, Melky Cabrera, have all been at least linked to PEDs before.
I would be surprised if anybody serves even 1 day if all MLB has is coded names Tony Bosch who has already sworn he had nothing to do with steroids. Now to avoid jail he is willing to cooperate? Seems it would take about a 10th rate lawyer to get anything they may do overturned.
There may be more players named: Pertaining to the assumption that Cano's "named" associate may be acting on Cano's behalf, the Yankee source is relevant (assuming it's legitimate and that the MLB has already contacted players who Bosch has/will name[d]).
ARod is such a piece of shit. This is like the third different lab operation hes been linked to, his contract should voided ffs! Cant believe I ever defended this scumbag.
sad thing is I have an A Rod boarding pass that he signed for me. It went from being worth quite a bit of dough to probably not worth the carboard it is printed on.
unless boarding pass is some sort of collectible and not an actual boarding pass, if it is any consolation, it likely would never have been worth anything anyways.
I was reading how the MLB got this info and I don't see how the MLBPA will let this go through easily. It also brings up the point for Melky and doubling up charges for one lying and then two being linked, is that a double violation on top of his original one? Or do they figure the original one is linked to this one and Melky served his suspension. Gonna be a very interesting story to follow
Nope, it was an actual boarding pass going back to my days working for America West. It's the real deal. It could be the only one in existence.
PA is in an interesting spot because they serve the guys in trouble here as well as the players who are clean and want to see the rule breakers suffer. Tough balance.
