pretty sure they wouldn't suspend a guy for a playoff game for saying 'no homo'

the league just fines guys who say stuff like that (like players have been fined in the past for 'fag' or whatever, not suspended)

No homo is not even offensive if you ask me. I'm not gay so I guess I'm not in the best position to say whether it is or not but I wouldn't exactly expect a gay person to get offended it if I said it around them. It is more of a joke type thing if you ask me, like saying "that's what she said".

Plus there are many variations of "no homo" after saying anything that you don't want to be misconstrued as coming off in a certain way.

    I agree, I don't think it's offensive

So many straight people in the media get offended at comments that don't apply to them...

I think its a $50k fine both the slur and the mfer comment...

That's crazy, have they watched the film on what they have doing? My guess is it won't matter as LeBron will find a way to lead them to a win in game 7 and some unheralded guy like Allen or Miller will have a big game just the way Horry or Fisher would for the Lakers. I don't know if I'd call the Heat a great team like those Lakers teams but this is the NBA and faces of the league don't lose game 7's at home.

he did have a horrible home playoff game against Boston in his final season in Cleveland. He pretty much no showed Games 5 and 6.

I don't think that'll happen on Monday. I think Miami wins.

Wade said he needs more opportunities. Lebron responded by saying he missed two easy layups that woulda changed the game.

Heat infrastructure cracking? Possibly. Id pay to see the fallout of the Heat losing game 7....

It's just not a good thing to say. I understand the joke. I think he didn't mean it in a bad way, just a joke, but the NBA should fine him. Learning experience for Roy.

Yeah that's the way I see it. Lebron and someone will hit 4-5 3s for them and it will be enough. I mean last nights game was 4 point game with 5:55 left. Lebron wasn't even playing that well

Say hello to the next coach of your Los Angeles Clippers. He's a west coast guy; went to high school in Vegas, went to Juco in St George Utah and was drafted out of Arizona State. He played with the Blazers and got his start coaching with the Sun Devils and then with the Suns. He's been the the Grizzlies for a long time, I can't believe they might actually let him walk. Pay the man, he's the best coach you've had in an otherwise abysmal history.

Obviously the west coast ties matter less in the pro game as they do in college but I think he'd a great fit for the Clippers with Jordan and Blake. If they get Paul resigned with a guy like Hollins as their coach they could be even better.

I think the FO and the Lionel don't mesh together. The FO wants Lionel to run a team one way and the FO another. That's why they are trying to work out a deal but they aren't rushing or even worried if he leaves I guess. I would like to see a Van Gundy coaching the Memphis team. Don't know if it would work, but would be interesting

What exactly did he say 'no homo' to? Was it a comment about Lebron grabbing balls? Too funny.

He said something like "Lebron and the Heat were really stretching me out, no homo". He apologized immediately but can't say that

If the Miami heat do not win this years championship as well as next years, this Big 3 will be considered a failure. And LeBron will most certainly walk out.

Are the Celtics big 3 era considered a failure?

If the Heat go 1/4 I can't say failure unless one of those is missing the playoffs all together
