i have 2 then 4. i was trying to get the 4 in row 5 on the aisle in front of the 2 on the aisle. they only had seats 7,8,9&10 open in row 5. to far in for me. in 3-4 weeks the relocation process starts but ill call back in 2.
the enjoyment me and my family get STILL from going will never be $$ wasted. ill send u a poicture of my sons smiling after the next game.then u tell me if i am wasting my $$$?
The Grinch doesn't approve of children smiling. And they're supposed to be walking around the parking lot wearing sandwich signs that say, "44 YEARS AND NO VLT, AND MY FATHER'S AN ASSHOLE FOR BUYING SEASON TICKETS."
Sorry this is now where HDTV & even 3D TV exists which really eliminates the need to spend your money on STs IMHO. I understand your comment IF it was 1993 not 2013
If they do this all like last year I'll still bet we end up seeing a price reduction after the relocation process. Just my gut feeling.
they will never lower my seat prices. sections 336-341 and 311-316 will never be lowered best upper sections
Lower rows won't be reduced either, even if they're in the EZ. They figure they're going to fill the lower rows, and especially mid-field sideline rows and even slightly higher rows 335-342 and 310-317, with all this movement. In other words, somebody will move from 342 Row 12 to 340 Row 7 in a heartbeat. So now the real question is, what do you do with what you have open now...that same 342 Row 12 and higher (or slightly lower rows but further from the 50)? You give them away at whatever you can get for them, that's what. And that's what the "military discounts" and no Preseason requirements and give-aways will be about AGAIN this year. Get used to it guys. But here's the thing... that's why you need an upgrade. Unless you enjoy sitting next to some dude who bought his seat for $50 when you paid full price and, BTW, he also didn't pay for Preseasons, then you ought to pretty well fuckin'-A get yourself an upgrade from the UD seats you are presently sitting in. And if they tell you, "Nothing better is available," then you tell them, "Okay dude, but I am not sitting next to some asshole who paid $50, so you either upgrade me right now so I don't have to experience that or find another ass for this seat."
Last year rows 8 and up there were a great deal of seats available on stubhub in my section on the ticketmaster map. They may be happy to keep it that way who knows. I am not expecting them to lower prices that's for sure. Biggest problem is they overcharge the STH too much for the upper deck and then they do that $10 extra charge on Ticketmaster prices but they do some ridiculous code to lower the price again. Like I said I buy/sell a lot for extra money. Never done it with Jets tickets except once when they were comp tickets I had nothing to lose lol. A lot of other teams now have given their STH a low price and then made the rest of the seats ridiculous. Almost a 30% markup. The Jets don't do that though and I don't expect it anytime soon.
Yes that is also a true statement & way cheaper the movie price. I paid $8.00 to see 42 which I enjoyed a whole bunch. My son paid $8.00 & my wife paid $8.00. Would have been like $4.00 on demand if available vs $24.00 for the 3 of us. Also that tear jerker routinue is also old hat since I to brought my son to the games from the time he was 7 until we stopped when I moved from NJ & we did not go to FB heaven & survived quite well without going to the games.
You have no business telling anybody else how to spend their money. You have no business telling anybody else how they want to spend their family time. If you want to state your opinion, then state that it is not worth $5000 for YOU to spend money on season tickets. As for me, I have been going to games since 1966 and have had season tickets since 1980. In the 60s and 70s I went with my father. In the 80s I went with my brother and occasionally with my father. In the 00s I added seats and went with my brother and my sons and others. It is a fun day that cannot be replicated at home watching on TV. So stop denigrating others for doing what they enjoy and for starting and continuing family traditions at Jets games. And stop using this thread, which is for discussion of the seating at the stadium, to beat your endless drum about how the Jets will not be a winning team for years. It is mainly irrelevant this year and, after being on this board for over a decade and a fan for 46 years, I know that neither you nor anybody else has a clue what is going to happen this season or any other season. If you did, you would be a rich man so would all the other so called experts who bet their hard earned money on all things football - and lose it.
Well I am sure you are aware that I have STs since 1965 yes that is not a mistype 1965 was my 1st year of owning NYJs STs. As for the rest of what U are babbling about I am just giving U my HO which is exactly what this board is for. I actually think anybody that pays for the garbage put on the field by Woody has totally lost all there common sense & if U R one of the ones who renewed then IMHO U just pissed ur money away.
Nope because I think buying STs is pissing your money right down the sewer & the NYJs are LOSERs & have been for 44 years now. Maybe just maybe if the stadium was empty & maybe if there was a blackout Woody would finally get the message & place a quality product on the field
