You can find out how old I am on my profile. INT's are an extremely important measuring stick for a QB that has 50 turnovers in two years. You're getting all defensive because your boy is stinking it up in practice (where you said he would dominate). Bet you and nyjunc are sweating up that Sanchez brothel...
that was a good movie.... but a bit of a personal attack. maybe morningwoods expectations are just really really fucking low? maybe he expects sancho to throw a few ints every time out. even to defensive linemen. i mean after all that is what his history shows us he does. oh and i am talking about 10 more days, how could you not understand that?
Good cop/Bad cop from Rex and Marty. Whatever it's whatever day of OTAs. Rex is just stating the obvious, turnovers=bad.
Holy fucking overreacting. This is a fucking OTA. The only thing these guys are doing, unfortunately, is trying to motivate the players through the press. That is all the fuck that Morningwood was doing by saying that they'd know their starter in July, or whatever the fuck he said. No wonder these shitbag beat writers are making so much money. Jets fans are the easiest marks on the planet.
Now, now if we're going to hate on the Dolphins lets do it accurately. for instance its scientifically proven that Dolphins are assholes. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/wildlife/9172937/Dolphins-resort-to-rape.html They are known to have fits of gang rape and they murder whatever comes their way. Yet everybody treats them like darling playful squeak toys, the deceiving bastards... people get in a tizzy about the redskins name, yet theres a football team named after a species of gangbangers, its a sick twisted world we live in. :finssuck:
For Sanchez it's an OTAA. One Turnover After Another Sanchez has little room for error...no matter how early it is. If a running back with a history of fumbling lost the ball 30% of the time he touched it, he'd never see the field. Rex did the right thing by saying something about it. This shit has got to stop.
Folks on both sides of this need to realize that it's May, a long way to go before a stater is even named. Have to love all the passion though, no one can ever accuse Jets fans of being uninvolved. Which is why most Jets boards have great discussions even in the slowest time of the year.
But then Rex said ... In other words all those 'great' things mean squat if he can't look after the football. You're right about the media though, but then theres nothing new to see here is there. Time wake up and smell the coffee
Any logical person could see that MM was just being professional and not trying to throw a possible starting QB under the bus after the first OTA. How could anybody be happy with 95% of the performance of a QB that had a 30% completion rate to the WRONG team? What was MM supposed to say? Also, 95% is not an acceptable number in the NFL anyway. Football players, at least quality NFL players, need to be on their game more than 95% of the time. I understand that you believe Mark Sanchez can turn it around an become this team's franchise QB that we've all seen glimpses of. There is even a part of me, and I'm sure many others here that might not admit it, that also believes there is a chance that everything clicks for him and he becomes an above average NFL QB. However, the way you defend him is ridiculous. You can believe in him and believe that he is a starting caliber QB, but also realize and accept that he HAS flaws, and a lot of them. Sorry for the awful grammar and sentence structure....long night at the bar
It's obvious Rex is not running the offense, whatever he says should be taken with a grain of salt. He's into his defense, I trust our oc when it comes to the analysis of a offensive player. MM was at the Ota's and knew the routes, plays, & players. He said he liked 95% of what he saw. That quote is not him being diplomatic or nice, it's his assessment. He could've been diplomatic and said both Qbs were A- Rusty B- Learning a new system C- Going against a great defense D- Missing vital players But instead he gave you a solid number, which was 95%. If anyone here thinks 95% is bad then your the best of the best in everything. From perfect looks, grades, physique, intellect. PLZ! Sanchez did what MM wanted 95% of the time period. Maybe Geno did 100%? No number provided for him. Lets stick with what we know from the appropriate channels, & on offense is MM and not Rex.
It's 2013 and you don't draft a QB as high as the Jets drafted Smith to be the backup. Like I have said before I can't see any possible way short of injury that he doesn't start especially in a year where the Jets are supposed to suck anyway.
i want to go practice with geno smith after practice just to help him get more reps so we can finally be done with the sancho show.
