How is that even similar though? For starters there's a difference between being "racist" and "targeting Isreal".. Not to mention he didn't, himself speak out directly against Jews.. The article reads like he's already a terrorist and all I see is ONE shared link about an ambiguous overseas atrocity... oh and a couple facebook "likes" give me a fuckin break. Do you know everything about every organization you "like" on facebook?
+1 lmao Was thinking the same. I don't exactly agree with what Israel as a government is doing either but I don't hold it against Jewish people. I don't really care if Oday is a Muslim fundamentalist or Muslim extremist, or even a Jihadist. Whatever, just play football and play it well Dammit!
Really? Why? You have something against some people living on a tract of land the size of Guttenberg?
because he's muslim he'll of course be looked under the suspicion of being a terrorist. If his uncle went to mosque that had a former member that once lived in the same apartment as somebody alleged to be connected to terror, well then he looks awful suspicious by those he associates with. Its like 6 degrees with Kevin Bacon, but without the bacon.
Seems like any time someone commits a crime, their families and friends are not immediately suspected of also being criminals, except in the case of Muslims. Oh, and by the way, Zionism is creepy as shit.
Is it possible to associate with an Islamic charity based in the Middle East without having links back to somebody bad somewhere? Is it possible to associate with an Islamic charity based in America without having links back to Islamic charities in the Middle East and then links back to somebody bad somewhere? Just an observation at this point. I'll bet you that every member of any Palestinian-American charity can be traced back to somebody in Fatah or Hamas or both if you look hard enough. I'll bet you every cabinet officer in the Israeli government can be traced back to the Stern Gang or the Irgun. The Irgun in fact is a predecessor of the Likud Party, with the Herut Party as the link. You have to use the Kevin Bacon Rule when looking at political associations and their ramifications. Just because the head of the Likud Party has links to the Irgun does not mean that he advocates the kind of murderous activities against women and children that the Irgun did.
Seriously? Did you read the tweet? Of course you didn't because the author did not include it in the article. Why don't you go and post the tweet which, "has targeted Israel ....even having anti-Semitic overtones" The lack of the tweet makes it hard to read don't you think.
I like where you are going with this. However, I'm just curious if you do this same analysis with with the people around you and see how many degrees separate your immediate circle from some crooked business people, or crooked government people, or evil religious people of other faiths? Seems kinds unfair to look at Palestinians and trace back roots and point a finger at Hamas or some other "bad person" in their chain. If that's the case, $5 says I am tied to some mob boss 6 degrees away that slaughtered hundreds of people so I must be a bad person too... I guess I'll turn myself into the police tonight after work.
Hey dude. I'm a Jew. The tweets the author mentions are not nearly up to the level of the messages from the other people mentioned in the article.
I've seen the photo and it basically shows some young Jewish guys laughing I'm the face of this elderly Muslim woman. I can't speak to the accuracy of her being evicted so the could stay there or whatever but it's not a positive photo for the image of Jewish people. That being said if it's true it doesn't make someone an anti-semite to post it. I hate to burst the bubble for some people but it's not universally the case that the Muslims are always bad and the Jews are always good. Both are human beings so there are always going to be good people and bad people on both sides of any religion or conflict in general. I know having said something that is not glowing positive towards Israel and the Jewish population is probably going to get me labeled as a Nazi which is what makes it hard to have legitimate discussion about Israel and Palestine. Too much of a "You're with us or you're a Jew hating Nazi" mentality.
Muhammad Wilkerson is also Muslim. That doesn't mean the Jets aren't quickly building a 54-man roster of Muslim goliaths (backed with Johnson and Johnson billions) bent on taking down the U.S.A. with their bare hands, but it doesn't NOT mean the Jets aren't NOT NOT building a 54-man roster of Muslim goliaths (backed with Johnson and Johnson billions) bent on taking down the U.S.A. with their bare hands. Think about it.
Seriously, the guy is Palestinian. He thinks that land belongs to Palestine. He are the things that ABOUSHI has done: 1. Liked a couple Islamic groups on Facebook that may or may not have connections to terrorism 2. Been friends with someone who could be connected with anti-Israel movements. 3. Retweeted something about an 88-year old Palestinian woman being evicted in favor of 4 Orthodox Jews. Yeah, I really don't care. The guy is Palestinian. He's not going to love Israel. I can't blame him for that. Literally, the only thing he did remotely wrong that I care about is retweeting the photo, and without any context, this means nothing to me. I don't care if it was used in smear campaigns, unless he's actively taking part in that. Is retweeting a picture, having a few potentially unsavory beliefs, and liking a couple Facebook pages really enough to hate someone? This. And if we cut players for stupid things they do on Twitter, we'd be down to about 5 teams in the NFL. Here's all you need to know about this article. It rips Oday's sister for the following reason: "Tahanie Aboushi condemned ads speaking out against Islamic jihad – ads which would soon be placed throughout New York City’s subway stations." Here are those ads that she spoke out against. "Ms. Geller reportedly plans to post ads with the following statements in 10 New York City subway stations: "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad." Here was Oday's sister's response: "Now we have come to the point where our courts have allowed people to plaster clear and unequivocal hate speech across our city," Ms Aboushi said. I mean, if the agenda of that article wasn't clear from the beginning, it certainly is there.
I see.. so since the author's writing style is not to your liking -- he chose not to use direct quote and chose to connect the dots for you -- he must be dead wrong. Convenient
Did I tell you Wilkerson is also a muslim? Yeah. That's right. Jets are going to blow some shit up this season - as in, setting off real explosives. That's what muslims do, right? (Fucking stupid idiots. WAKE THE FUCK UP, MORONS.)
