Not from the book but I loved this monologue. Also, there was a guy on asoiaf.org who was talking about the two different actors that played The Mountain, Ser Gregor Clegane (Conan Stevens in SE01, and Ian Whyte in SE02). He was mentioning how he was so disappointed (as were we all) with the switch of of the actors because physically Whyte doesn't measure up at all. These guys are the same height (7'1") and Stevens weighs like 315 and is jacked, where Whyte is about 240ish and looks like a strong wind would blow him over. BUt this guy mentioned using the Raider LT Jared Veldheer as the replacement for The MOuntain in SE03. Though he's not tall enough or a good cast for the role, but here's a pic of what this kid looks like these days. If you compare this to all his other pictures it's just amazing. The guy on the far right looks like a big guy and Jared just dwarfs him.
Best episode of the season. Hands down. The King Slayer sticking up for Breanne. They have a good relationship going on.
This latest one? Hmm I might have to rewatch it. I saw it as another set up episode. I loved the episode that ended with the slaves being freed
I hate that it's working on me too. I begrudgingly accept he's not that terrible of a guy anymore even though I hated him haha
I watch game of thrones for the strategy, battles and hot naked chicks. These setup episodes are brutal to watch. Now, anytime Jamie lamnestr or breeann tarth show up on screen I cringe. I think the acting of arrya stark b-lows. Thank the engineering of the first men for the scene they created with the ice climb over the wall; otherwise the whole walk with John Snow and wildlings have been trying. Sansa story=boring, Tyrion story=boring daenery's, redeeming. Winter is still coming, right?
I almost took a nap durring this episode, and I'm a huge ASOIAF fan. I know they have to build up this rapport with the audience I just think they're focusing entirely too much time on BS story lines that don't mean anything in the scheme of things. Where's Sam, Davos, Stannis? I'd like to see more of Brann and the Reeds. Maybe some different scenes from Jon's perspective and how he views the wildlings not just him and Ygritte. We get it, they're into each other. I don't know, some of these episodes just lose me with what they're trying to portray.
Not my best, but the show over does it with a lot of meaningless character development. The last 3 episodes have been mostly boring.
Yeeeeeesssssssss....... That was a good episode. Sam the White Walker Killer. I was hoping Joffrey got killed this episode. There was a lot of pieces that came together this episode.
shit the next episode is in 2 weeks? Tune into that one folks...btw alot of tits this episode. Some nice shots of Dany's ass
