Knicks need a bucket badly here for my sake. 6 points is one 3 away from being a one possession game. 8 points is on 3 away from a two possesion game
I know Melo on Sam Young is a mismatch. But George and Hibbert have 5 fouls. Might be time to let JR try to drive once with George guarding him and Hibbert coming up to stop him. Maybe he draws a 6th on one of them
JR needs to shoot that open 3. Not sure if that's clear path. Think DJ never had control but I'm more hoping that
Well we won. We need to play much better. Got too ISO heavy late. Felton was working that double screen soooooo good
Knicks win, not impressive but who cares. Time for Melo to man up and change the perception of him around the league. Go into Indiana and play like a star. Get the win.
0 free throws through 3 quarters. Ridiculous. Just because he doesn't snap his head back doesn't mean he wasn't hit
What do you know? JR Smith takes less shots and we win. Formula for success right there. 11 shot attempts is his lowest of the series. Game 4 he had 22, Game 2: 15 Game 3: 12 Game 1: 15. Looks like Woodson layed into him and told him to stop taking bad shots when he's struggling. Stick with the easy ones, it's the best way to get your rhythm back. Yeah I know he's bricking those too. It can't last forever, though, can it? Copeland looked good tonight. It's good to see him get more minutes.
Not only Hill being out is a saver...but that Stephenson injury looks not to good. If both of those guys struggle or cant go... I wouldnt be surprised at all for a game 7 Monday night..not at all.
Kidd and Amare 0 second half minutes. Copeland got playing time. If Hill is out, DJ cannot stick with Felton. That double screen they ran at the top of arc, unstoppable basically. The one time West read it correctly, Felton blew past him and fed Tyson but Hibbert had that block. Easily enough, when you don't have Amare, Kidd, etc passing JR the ball with 8 seconds left, he takes less shots. I'll take it, the Knicks definitely have to play better to win IND, can't rely on IND shooting 50% from the FT line.
A win is always nice, but it's hard to see the Knicks winning in Indiana playing the way they are now.
