Spoken by a guy, whose quarterback is one of the few, with less wins than Sanchez, over the last two seasons. And plays a team that hasnt sniffed the playoffs, let alone a Superbowl. Last winning season..2008. Maybe..,,just maybe...Steve should worry about whats going on in Carolina, and reserve comment, until his IQ exceeds his seasonal catch total.
I'm sure Steve Smith is breaking down film on Mark Sanchez. When's the last time Steve made the playoffs again?
One less win over the past two years but: Over 1000 more yards passing 11 more passing TDs 7 less INTs 1300 more Rushing yards 16 more rushing TDs 11 less fumbles lost
so all those "great" #s got him one LESS win? By the way, Newton has ONE more TD pass not 11 more and Sanchez didn't have a Steve Smith to throw to.
You guys are right. 1 more TD. But the point still stands. Junc is downplaying Cam as a QB because his team has only 13 wins the past two years.
Nope, I'm just reposting an article. A good one by Adam Schien. Serious question, do you think Sanchez is a leader?
Well...since we are also riffing on the Smith article...i will say this...known malcontent Santonio Holmes thinks so, as does Nick Mangold. IMO, the only thing holding Sanchez' ability to lead back, has been his inconsistent play. He can lead...
I am not downplaying him, he has a chance to be really good but he has less wins than mark the last 2 years w/ all of Mark's troubles.
Phil Simms and Trent Dilfer won SBs and have been complimentary of Sanchez in the past- does that invalidate the opinion of anyone else?
I don't understand how Steven Smith at all benefits from saying that. He's definitely played with worse Quarterbacks than Sanchez.
