No. Am I harder on Peyton or other great QBs than Mark Sanchez? Absolutely, I don't grade everyone on the same scale. A guy like Peyton is judged much harsher b/c he has proven to be a great QB and the expectations are MUCH higher. I am always fair though.
Ok I have another question help me understand something. Why do you vilify the defense if Mark Sanchez leads a TD drive, only for the defense to give up a score on a later drive. Then you vilify Peyton or Flacco under the same circumstance? What is the difference?
not all circumstances are the same, it may seem like it. Show me specific examples and I will give answers for each situation. I am fair to all, it's not my fault peyton chokes in nearly every postseason.
I know all circumstances aren't the same but okay fine. Let's use the Tennessee game. Sanchez leads a TD drive, then the defense gives up a TD on the next drive. Peyton leads a TD a drive against the Ravens, the Broncos defense forces a 3 and out, then the Ravens defense gets a 3 and out, then the Broncos defense give up a TD and you vilify Peyton for "choking"
It is no longer a discussion. My point has been made over and over again and you will never get it. It is clear that there are two sets of rules you go by. One set for Sanchez and another for every other QB.
One was a reg season game on the road and one was a postseason game at home. I have said over and over that mark deserves most of the blame for that loss but I also know the D deserves some blame too. W/ Den Peyton deserves most of the blame though their D deserves some blame too. the tying TD was inexcusable but they aren't in that spot w/o poor play from peyton. You made zero points and when your points were torn apart you bowed out. You talk about 2 sets of rules while making an excuse for peyton about his RBs- something you didn't do for Mark- why is that?
John Skelton,Brady Quinn,Chad Henne,Ryam Fitzpatrick,Blaine Gabbert,Colt MCCoy,Greg McElroy,Jamarcus Russell all say hello. And thats just from last year without looking (well Jabuffettable isnt fromlast year)
Funny, I heard this same thing directed towards several other posters who toasted your bias arguments. I brought up the 3 runs to point out what you have already done for Sanchez several times. It is a double standard. You are like a self proclaimed Super Model that everyone finds ugly. Too bad us average fans are not able to comprehend when you tear our points apart.
Sanchez is in the same boat with Fitzpatrick, Gabbert, McCoy etc. He just might be worse than Fitzpatrick and McElroy.
I'm pretty good looking, I don't know about super model but thanks anyway:grin: I appreciate your effort, the knowledge just isn't there to back the effort.
