This Knicks team is so talented but they completely lack the toughness that defined the knicks throughout the 90s. This scheduling really has fucked me up in terms of being in the vibe of the series but man is tonight an important game.

Scheduling has sucked. I literally forget friday night there was a game saturday. I forgot yesterday there was a game today.

I don't think Chandler said anything at melo directly. He just said the ball needs to move more on offense. He's right, although he should be the last to complain after the poor performance he's given in the playoffs. I think it's because JR Smith was god awful again and it's killing the team. Melo iso plays are fine, but when JR is doing it as well the ball never moves and it kills continuity. Chandler needs to get his shit together. 5 rebounds for a 7'1" center is unacceptable. JR needs less minutes.

There are tons of Melo haters out there now. They are trolling espn in full force. It's funny, and I just wanted to point this out:

Melo takes the ball, fakes, then makes the quick jumper

Fan: Great move, melo! Sick shot! Keep doing that!

Melo takes the ball, fakes, then misses a quick jumper

Fan: Terrible shot, Melo! WTF!! Stop isolating and forcing shots!!!

Shots are always good when they are falling. I just hope they are falling tonight and we can figure out the puzzle of stopping Hibbert.

Nah there are still bad shots even if you hit them. What is bad is

"Melo catches the ball, dribble 5-10 times, back downs his defender, takes fadeaway jumper" Regardless if he miss or makes, that's a bad shot unless he has a smaller defender like Hill on him.

This is more of a general complaint but it kills me when teams draw down the shot clock at the end of the quarter. The Knicks are the worst at this because they never make the basket. Instead of taking 20 seconds down to 2.4 then having no decent shot and missing, why not get the sure basket with 10 to go and then defend to keep the advantage? The rule should be make sure you get the basket, not make sure you kill the clock.

    Drives me crazy

I was just giving you the average fan perspective. I don't consider that a bad shot, because he makes it more than half the time. It may not be an ideal shot, but he's the best scorer in the game, so we can allow it. JR Smith, however, is not Melo, nor should he play as if he is that skilled.

We as a team don't understand 2 for 1s. I understand not rushing for the 2 for 1 adn taking a bad shot. But we literally stand around and not even attempt the 2 for 1 then shoot a tough shot with 6 seconds left so the other team has 4 seconds to do something. It makes no sense.

The worst part is that it's not only the average fan (radio callers I'm guessing you are referring to?) by analysts on TV too. The making of the basket doesn't determine if it's a bad shot or not.

Eh I like quick decision melo because even if he's missing the defense is off guard and usually doesn;t stagnate the offense. When he's on, Melo should be allowed to do whatever he wants.

Starters for Game 4 tonight at Indiana: Felton, Shumpert, Anthony, Martin, Chandler.

We're going big lineup.... Hopefully it works. West/Hibbert is a time I don't mind the big lineup but would rather avoid it. If IND sends out Pendegraph, Tyler, someone small at the 4 we HAVE to go small because neither big is an offensive threat.

Our starting lineup is gonna suck at spacing the floor, no reason to respect Chandler or Kmart outside the restricted area.

If INDY knew how to hold onto the ball, we would be losing by much more

Why is Kidd in before PRig? Kidd shoots less than Prigs. OFfensive black hole

Garbage end to that 1st quarter. Kidd is a blackhole offensively. You put Prig out there, who does Tyler cover? JR, Prig, Felton? He can't check anyone of them. He can check Kidd on the perimeter though

This big lineup is stupid. Our offense still sucks and our rebounding gets worse because Amare/KMART just chase blocks.

How about some Prig, Felton, Novak/Cope, Melo, Tyson please.
