I love it when you nit-pick and completely miss a point because of minor things like it was 1999 instead of 2000. What is even more funny is that you get those minor details wrong all the time yourself. Speaking of minor details:

^ You might want to check your math on that point total over those 2 games again.

And don't you know that Tampa was a D first team. King led his team to a 4th quarter lead over the Rams until that D choked.

The sign of an unstable psychopathic Meglomaniac is the repeated self congratualtions of perceived Victories, Hitler was convinced he was winning the war until sometime late in a Bunker in 1945.

Keep deluding yourself...the only thing you've shredded in this entire thread is any concept that there may actualy be a working mind present :)

That said. Sanchez has always been a Subpar QB...
The fact you have to argue Interceptions as being good as punts just reinforces how weak your positon is.

you know what i hope is the next similarity? the bucs brought in a decent, not great qb and won the superbowl in 2002. shaun king wasnt a good qb, sanchez is not either. there is just no 2 ways around it.

if you look at the big picture you can see that. you always want to chop it up into little pieces as that is the only way you can find anything positive to say.

Yeah it's minor that he is comparing the two in title game years and he uses a year where King didn't help his team get to a title game and the year he made it he wasn't good and his D was spectacular unlike our situation.

    1999 postseason:
    vs. Washington: allowed 7 pts
    at SL: allowed 9 pts

    what is 9+7?

you can hurl; insults and not know what you are talking about or pay attention and learn. It's your choice.

people wouldnt insult you if you didnt say douchey things like "you can hurl; insults and not know what you are talking about or pay attention and learn. It's your choice."

you are just begging for someone to call you a douchebag when you say stuff like that. so please dont be surprised when they do.

Brad Johnson was very underrated, this man led THREE different franchises to postseason. he wasn't great but he was a very solid starter that you could win w/.

Except King did nothing to help TB win, mark did a ton.

    Mark: 9 TDs, 3 INTs
    King: 1 TD, 3 INTs

Mark: 4 playoff wins all on road
king: 1 playoff win at home

Mark: led O to 20 PPG
King: led O to 8 PPG

    Mark's D: allowed 19 PPG
    King's D: allowed 12 PPG

Mark's D: allowed 24 PPG in 2 title game losses
King's D: allowed 9 pts in title game loss.

but other than that they are exactly the same.

How did King not help his team get to a title game? He took over when the team was 7-4 and led them to the playoffs with an 11-5 record. They were in the NFC Champ game that year.

My bad on the point total. I didn't realize that the Redskins returned a kick for a TD in that game. You still got it wrong though. They allowed 6 not 7. 9+6?

Here's that reading thing again. I wrote:

he was discussing the 2000 season, they made the title game in the 1999 season winning one game at home where they scored 14 pts.

i agree johnson was underrated. he was not a great qb but he was a solid qb who won alot of games. he was surely the top of hte middle class qbs, not elite but definitely better than average.

shaun king was terrible and was really the one thing that was holding back that franchise. i see sanchez much in the same light as shaun king. sanchez can look better than king did, but only for brief brief moments. he can also look much much worse. king would throw alot of incompletes, sancho throws alot of ints.

i will give it to you though, sanchez is marginally better than king in the top end of his game. he also has alot lower of a bad side.

So what? It is a minor detail. He did do it in 1999. You think his stats over those 7 games are going to be drastically different than they were in 2000? The point remains. king was not a great QB and they got the a Champ game on the strength of the D and running game.

His premise for the argument was comparing the 2000 season for King and 2010 season for Sanchez. He combined his '99 w/ the 2000 season so it was not a minor detail

King had a LEGIT top defense, a great defense. Really an all time great defense and could only win 1 playoff game at home. How does that compare w/ what Sanchez did?

He took King's stats from his full season in 2000 and compared them to Sanchez. He didn't combine anything. Both are not very good QBs that won playoffs games becasue of the team around them and not becasue of what they did.

If you were a Bucs fan, I'm sure you would have been arguing that the Tampa D wasn't great and that King had a 4th quarter lead in the NFC Champ game over the Rams until that D blew it. Lol!! Never mind King throwing 2 picks in that game. I'm sure those were like GREAT punts.

here is the quote to start that post:

that's not a minor detail. he was wrong and he also didn't post how much better the TB D was and how they allowed 8 PPG in postseason in their championship game run but that's just useless info I'm sure.

Take your loss and move on.

If TB's D would have played like ours D I'd say they were overrated but they were legitimately great. Our D's were good to very good- nowhere near a D like Tampa.

King was the same QB in 2000 as he was in 1999. King played in 7 games in 1999. He compared a full season of King to a full season of Sanchez. He got the year they went to the title game wrong, but that doesn't make his point any less valid.

You got the the Tampa D point total wrong. It's minor details.

his entire premise was comparing FULL seasons they led teams to title games. it never happened for king and again king did very little in postseason w/ a MUCH better defense and better all around talent in a weaker conference.

I didn't get the TB D pt total wrong. Please post what you think is correct.

i dont think you want to hitch your wagon to the sanchez is marginally better than shawn king reality... even though the numbers side by side say king is marginally better.

see how i did that, i didnt just accept the stats, i still think sancho is better than king. but that in itself means he isnt any good.

He was comparing two QBs that are not very good who got to Championship games. King took over a 7-4 and went 4-1 as a starter in 1999. That qualifies for helping your team make the playoffs and they got to the NFC Champ game. The whole point is QBs who made Champ games on the strength of the D and running games.

You did get the TB D pt total wrong. You said they allowed a total of 16 points. 7 to Washington and 9 to the Rams.

They actually allowed 6 to Washington making the total 15. Minor details that you harp on and get wrong yourself.

he was comparing FULL SEASONS and he goofed. regardless of that one guy played MUCH better than the other w/ less talent and a D not nearly as good as the other guy.

6/7 it's all the same. Now you will harp on a meaningless point which further reinforces my point anyway. TB had A GREAT defemse, our D was nowhere near as good as those guys.
