Well its official ..our outfield sucks..Andrew Brown is called up who is frankly another Cowgill retread..why not promote somebody with potential upside...we might as well see what we have in AAA.

Anyway wont be around for a week or so as I am off to Cancun with the better half..enjoy and lets hope we sweep a series or two!!

Wright shockingly hits the Mets' 4th HR of the night, tying the game against Kimbrel in the top of the 9th.

Lyon has faced four batters and given up a single, double, and home run. Nice.

Parnell cleans up the mess and we're going to extra innings.

Familia brilliant for his first major league save after Tejada and Murphy put the Mets ahead in the 10th.

Dickey gets rocked again... he's 2-5 with a 5.36 ERA. Hopefully D'Arnaud can play and the Mets will have fleeced the Blue Jays in this trade.

He was apparently booed off the mound by the home crowd. It's really amazing how badly the Jays are playing considering the players they acquired. Reyes seems to have a gift in recent years for playing on teams that vastly underperform expectations, even if he's playing well.

They are terrible and it's not just Dickey... Encarnacion, Bautista and Melky have been awful. They have one guy hitting above .250 of their regular players and that's Melky who is hitting .252 and should it surprise anybody that Reyes is hurt? It's why I'm glad the Mets let him go, great player when healthy but that's just it. He is getting paid too much money to spend as much time on the DL as he does.

Harvey retired the first 20 White Sox to face him tonight.

Rios reached on an infield single with 2 outs in the seventh

I was almost happy when Harvey gave up the hit. The Mets aren't scoring.

Good thing Harvey gave up that hit. That would have been heartbreaking.

I should be kicking myself that I didn't draft Harvey in the fantasy league (just like I passed on Dickey in another league last year for Erik Bedard - yikes). But since my staff is Kershaw-Sale-Scherzer-Iwakuma-Lohse-Ryu-Kendrick I didn't make out too badly this time around. Besides, I'm too paranoid to draft guys off my real team - usually they flop or get hurt when I do.
