They already have said, Sanchez has clearly been available and not even a peep about teams interested.....at all....Hell Tampa ruled out Sanchez as part of any Revis deal and they have a questionable QB.

I am assuming as are you guys but w/ 3rd and 8 coming up the logical assumption is we are attempting a long FG.

you posted the %s, and it was 34%? is that a lock? that tells me almost every 7 of 10 tries the team is unsuccessful, right? would you say the odds were in our favor?

Nah, the pats haven't had their way w/ our D the last 5 reg season games. Did you miss the examples I gave? how about shutting them down for 29 mins of the 1st half in our Nov '11 game? how about the end of this game where we had done a good job?

    Again, LOGIC. please use it.

No, I have seen a bunch of logical posters not blaming Mark for everything that goes wrong.

I realize reading is not your friend but read it slower. At no point did I ay it was a great plan to turn it over there, I aid not all TOs are created equally and looking back that particular did not hurt us and MAY have helped us. That doesn't mean I want a TO there but we made the best of that situation.

    Clearly pumpfakes never work.:rofl2:

it's just too easy w/ you.

Which is why Sanchez is a crap QB, he should never have made that throw.. Smart QB's either go to the check down or throw the ball away.

And one more thing, Joe's in the Hall of Fame, Only way Sanchez ever gets close to that is by buying a ticket.

you realize that is a very different question, right? a GM acquiring him now would have to give up a pick(or picks) and take on his big contract. Why would that make sense for any GM? he may get released and they can get him for cheap and not give up anything in return.

Keep reading my posts, eventually you will get up to speed.

That's a different argument and I agree he shouldn't have made the throw.

Joe is in the Hall b/c of one game and what he meant off the field as opposed to what he actually did on the field.

Your right, all turnovers aren't created equal, there's turnovers created by great plays by the defense and there are turnovers created by dumb mistakes by the QB....

No turnover is EVER good...unless your playing defense. No turnover is ever better than another turn over, EVER. Everytime you turn the ballover you're taking away a chance for your team to score and giving the other team an additional chance to score. Period.
You claim to be such an above average fan but your knowledge of the game lacks so severly.

Listen to any competent head coach talk about turnovers and now no turnover is ever good...they'll all say the team with the fewest turnovers usually wins. Period. End of story, end of discussion.
Now get to work, if I was your boss I'd fire your ass for being on the internet all shift.

Not only has he been available but the Jets were clearly willing to pay a good portion of his guaranteed salary this year since they are on the hook for it anyway. If another GM believed in him he would be a very cheap option to bring in. The rest of his contract is not guaranteed.

If Sanchez was viewed as a reliable starting QB by any GM he would be the cheapest option in the league.

Interesting so a hail mary at the end of the first half is the same as being down 4 late going in for a TD and having that ball picked off?

I learn something new w/ every post.

Turnovers are not good, I am not saying we should be rooting for a TO in any spot BUT some TOs are better than others and clearly that one did not hurt us. We all would have preferred a TD drive there but that was far from a guarantee.

Right now he is damaged, whatever team has him(whether us or anyone else) will have to rehab him. If he leaves us he will go to a team as a backup, they will work with him and eventually he should get another shot to play but no team is picking him up now(free or not) and handing him a starting spot based off the last year +.

You're an idiot if you actually believe that. With that turnover, we take away at least a field goal which could have helped us win. What do you also have to say about your boy getting strip sacked fumbled to end the game in overtime...

Or how about that safety...? God damn, what does it take for you to realize that Sanchez is NOT A GOOD QUARTERBACK. Seriously...what does it take? He is, at his best, mediocre.

This is terrible to watch. If he didn't try to force a throw on a read he missed, he had at least 1 guy wide open on the checkdown

Edit: and it was second and 8 according to the graphic on the field, not 3rd and 8. That means an incomplete pass is perfectly fine. Situational awareness completely removed from this kid last year. No idea why it went away so quickly.

Yeah, do you see the Jet in white (also on the right side) who had 20 yards of open space around him? Pats blow coverage-leave the flat totally exposed, yet get an interception out of it, and you spin it as an effective "punt." Take up soccer, you don't have even a remedial understanding of American football.

I remember vividly laughing at this play and telling myself that Sanchez would never find a guy more open with that much space then he did right there.

It's like he didn't register that Hill was double covered. He either tunnel visioned on him or was pre determined to throw it there. If I remember correctly, Hill was initially open on this play but Sanchez's progression wasn't on Hill when he was open. I don't know what he saw to think he could/should make that throw. Unfortunately, you could say that about a lot of his throws the last 1-1.5 years, and very few ended up in TDs or even completions.

    i remember thinking:
"he shoulda threw the short incompletion, not the long interception"

Knock off the childish "idiot" stuff.

Let's say we kick a 56 yd FG since those are chip shots. We kick off and at worst NE has the ball at their 20 instead of inside their 2. you don't think that helps an offense like NEs? you don't think they get AT LEAST a FG?

Are you saying the safety was his fault? he saved us 5 pts by making a heads up play kicking it out of the EZ.

is there anything you guys don't blame him for?

GMs know he can play and teams can win big with him. They aren't stupid though, they aren't giving up picks and big $s for a damaged guy right now.

yep, bad decision but people like you are making it out like Hill was wide open and he should have completed the TD pass. he had a guy open short w/ no one around him, awful decision. I will bash him for that but you guys are so preoccupied w/ bashing him over anything pretend like Hill was wide open w/o a defender w/in 20 yds.
