he was pissed after he 2nd goal (check his reaction) I don't think he was able to shake that off quickly enough so let in another softie. I do agree that I expect a much better showing from him tomorrow......and the rest of the team to stay out of the friggin box.....and got to the net (my gripe all season)

i'm getting tired of the usual opening 12 shots to 2 in favor of the caps to start the game. i know you have to survive opening storms, but it seems like everytime this happens.
the boys can still flip this bitch and take the next game. if they do then they have done their job. can't ask for more than a split, i'll take one everytime.
they did not look good, they looked soft to me in reality, but i'm not throwing in any towels whatsoever. fuck the capitals, and I want Fehr and Erskines heads on pikes right now!!

I think you might be arguing against a point I didn't make.

I think he might be close to being the #1 player in the league, at all positions. There hasn't been a defenseman like him since Paul Coffey retired.

karlsson is a god damn studhorse. possibly bionic. i think the league should investigate that son of a gun. it's not human i tell you.

I was expecting the storm from the start.

I agree for the most part about the softness.......at least in period 1, I thought they started hitting more in the second and settled things down a little. But Nash has to show a little more of a mean streak out there......i know it's not his game, but he's bigger than most guys on the ice at any time.......throw the body around a little..and like somene else mentioned, don't let your captain get piled on 2 on 1 and not do anything about it.

And I'm starting to agree with the guys here that ripped Torts for Kreider.........he plays like he's scared shitless out there in the few chances he gets, skating on egg shells....chicken and egg thing here.......does he not play a lot because he plays so indecisively now, or is he indecisive because he's afraid of getting benched?

Why is Girardi on the PP? He plays 55 minutes a game and he has to be on the PP as well? He is BRUTAL on the PP. Does not belong. And he can use some fuckin rest.,

lol, hack I heard you, knew that had to be you......and heard the hosts say what I said.....

once again you're not understanding the pov here......no one is saying Holtby played great...he just didn't let in any stinkers..........therefore, outplayed Hank, regardless of how close the Rangers were to scoring, at the end of the day they didn't get any but one flukey one off of a skate.

lol.........not really, if you take the content out of the equation.

btw yeah Girardi, give the guy an effin blow every now and then, he can't hit ther side of a house with a shot from the point anyway.........was skating in quicksand by the 3rd period.

This is not an accusation, but to come back from a lacerated Achilles that quickly? Incredible. Like Adrian Peterson incredible. I'm curious what you guys think, does he heal fast and have an excellent training staff or was something like deer antler spray involved?

These days I feel like this is a question worth throwing out there.

Because focusing on the negative all the time is lame, I'd like to bring in a positive. How about Stepan's play on the powerplay where his stick was knocked out of his hands. He didn't give up, blocked a couple shots, was diving in front of the puck to block shooting and passing lanes. It was an extremely impressive effort.
