West virgina's defense was disgusting. I feel like by the time he played syracuse he was just looking toward his pro future. They lost so many late game hartbreakers last season that they had nothing to prove. Geno put up numbers in that mess of a game anyway. The only thing I am worried about is that the JILLS stole our DC that rex groomed. What a piece of shit pettine was to take a job with a division foe. At least schotty went to NFC. And schotty owed rex nothing.

So how do bill fans feel that there defense is gonna be REX'S D????

I wish the Jets had picked him. EJ is going to be good.

    Time will tell.
EJ has all the intangibles and measurables you could ever want. I am pretty hopeful.

I love it! No one can argue that Rex knows his shit when comes to defense. He gets alot out of his players and his schemes are effective.

Pettine, from a division foe, as a Bills fan is a huge win.

He is A PUSSY who throws the ball away cause he got injured; He has fought with teammates in the media( OL shot ) and on the field.

Pettine was known for being the "anonymous source" so have fun with that. I think he might have an idea of Rex's D but to think he is bringing it with him( Top 10 ) is laughable I.E Rob Ryan was compared to his brother year in year out because they come from the same 46 Phantom D & everyone thought he would have a Top ranked defense year in year out just like Rex; Not only has he NOT lived up to it but... Rex has done it with Revis without Revis, with no Passrush for 4 years and yeat has made gold out of dirt with the dirt in some cases(LB's/DL). In all honesty goodbye! Pettine just the chance he was the "source" of all the leaks to the media I hope you all have fun

If he was leaking info (which is absurd) then wouldn't it stop after he left? Or are you saying it was also Pettine who made the entire country aware that the Jets wanted Tavon Austine at #9? Lol.

screw this "dont bring him in too quick cause you might ruin his psyche" crap.

i like the way parcells put it. "if a guy can handle that adversity id just be glad i found out sooner rather then later"

We're talking the Bills here. It would be like Geno playing for Syracuse. I think the Jets defense will keep matters close at hand. Besides Sanchez will be playing the Bills anyway. I don't see Geno playing for a year or two. Even if Sanchez plays well this year he will probably get offered a one year deal which puts Geno's start out there somewhere. The Jets have their running attack back. Based on the new Oline look and a healthy WR core in Santonio and Hill. That will make Sanchez's problems minor. For once when Rex says ground and pound it will mean something. I'm being somewhat optimistic here.

Geno shouldve been the 1st qb taken, EJ is a POTENTIAL monster. Potential is what gets a lot of the bust label.

Smith has a solid pristine background, football acumen, physique yada yada... Id rather draft Smith I dont know what Bills were thinking.

I hope they dont "FITZ" EJ in Buffalo....

Geno's weaknesses are known to everyone, not Marrone in particular. I'd be more worried as a Jet fan if you drafted Nassib.

Actually neither one of them are regarded as "sure" things...ie: RG3 and Luck. Geno has as at least as many questions as does EJ. I mean the entire league passed on him, some teams a few times before the Jets pulled the trigger.

What does "Fitz" him mean? Overpay?

But wait, if its not all about the QB, why bash Sanchez? Did he injure Holmes,Hill, and Keller, or pit Gates Gilyard and Rueland on the roster?

The Bills? Every GM in football, passed on Smith. Including Idzik, twice.

I am specifically talking about anonymous leaks last year. Have you heard teams leaking info about the draft for smoke screen purposes and possibly to entice teams to want to trade up? Come on bro you know more then this

Who knows, you are now citing the same 'news' sources you usually hate and deride, to now to make your point about the possible "Pettine Conspiracy".

The Jets have been a circus (very entertaining except when Tebow dominated 30 minutes of every sports show), the last few years, I mean hard knocks, a coach who always makes guarantees, the Sexy Rexy foot recording thing lol, then some fast early successes rose the team profile and hope and then the Tebow affair and the rapid decline of the team with Sanchez and his whole story all conspired to make your team, in NY, the perfect media storm.

So forgive Bills fans if they are not that worried about Pettine being a snitch. Any number of things were going on there as you all well know.

All this talk about Genos hand size. His hands are just as big as RGIIIs, plus NFL balls are smaller than college balls.
