Jets get ripped for bad QB play. Then they draft Geno Smith (the top QB prospect) in the 2nd round & get ripped for continuing their QB circus.
the Raiders are horrible, the Titans are a ? like us but our Defense is better and Chris Ivory and Mike Goodson>>Chris Johnson and Shonn Greene, the Bills are pathetic year in and year out and will continue to suck
Typical pile of uneducated biased horseshit, but if there was a year to go into the tank, this may be it....... Clowney's a better 1st pick than Keyshawn :shit:
Honestly the reason the Jets are probably ranked #32 at this point is because of the unsettled QB question, the very thin and largely unproven WR/TE corps and a right side of the O-line that's in dissarray. Throw in on defense that there's very little speed on the edges and a very questionable safety group and i think #31 or #32 at this point in time is a fair assessment. If the Qb question, at the very least, was settled I'd think the Jets would probably rank somewhere in the mid to low 20's.
LAST? Really? Man, the league really likes to hate on the Jets man I tell you. We were/are going to be bad no matter what this season, but to put us LAST is ridiculous. Like really? They really think the Jags and Bills are going to be better than us? B/S.
So that means if we don't finish with the worst record in the NFL next year, ESPN has to praise us since we exceeded expectations right? right?
All of that sells to the average fan. Note: not the average Jet fan, the average football fan. Winning will solve this problem over time but it's going to take time. At some point the success will over-ride the pure entertainment factor of ragging on the the Jets. Idzik and Woody going dark on the media and doing their best to contain Rex on that front is a good strategy to contain the damage until the rebuild begins paying dividends. How long can it be until Jerry Jones or Dan Snyder or somebody like that takes the "circus" spotlight away from the Jets?
Ivory is better than Greene and Johnson is better than Goodson but the gap between Ivory and Greene is far superior to the gap between Johnson and Goodson
I actually think we'll have a good team this year. The QB situation will work itself out and be fine, especially with Marty as the OC. The guy is a real OC with real experience. Other then TE, the rest of the positions are fine, with Holmes/Hill/Kerley just fine at WR if they stay healthy. The Defense will definitely be fine, especially with the draft class. I think all these media folks are just over reacting, but we'll see. The roster is really not bad.
Chris Johnson has rushed for 6,888 yards and 44 touchdowns. He's received for another 1,658 yards and 4 touchdowns. Ivory and Goodson are career 3rd stringers.... that's right, 3rd stringers. They've never even been starting running backs. I cannot believe we are actually having this conversation. You guys have really lost it.
Really not gonna get into it with you two but the combination we have is better potentially along with our O-Line we've Shitt Greene first hand and he will add nothing to Tennessee and as for CJ teams will stack the box and make Locker beat them
