    I would give it a B.

Milliner and Richardson are both good, solid picks that were also value picks - no reaches early which is good.

Geno was not a pick I liked but it was a high value pick at least - don't forget this is a guy many "experts" had going #2 overall and certainly in the top 10 picks.

Winters and Aboushi are two very good picks. Also have to factor in trading for Chris Ivory which I liked.

I didn't like the later picks but also struggle to care about them.

A for personnel, E for addressing needs. Averages a "C".

Truth be told, I'm pretty happy with it and I think the roster has improved for 2013, despite the loss of whatshisname.

I'll give it a C+. liked the Milliner and Winters picks. wasn't expecting Geno or Richardson, would have preferred Floyd or Lotulelei, but I'll take it. Aboushi is a good pick too.

    B

Only real questionable pick was the one in the 6th round, but besides that, I liked it for the most part. Building towards the future.

B as well....not getting a TE out of this sucks or a safety or a OLB but we got some really good talent which we needed as heading into this draft, we were severely weak when it came to depth.

I liked all the picks but the round 6 pick is kinda iffy honestly...but I'll wait and see. Not the end of the world if a round 6 pick doesn't end up being a stud but I really wanted Rambo.

Wanted to go F but went with D. I feel like we got some decent talent but didn't address any real needs.

Needs before draft: OLB/DE, TE, WR, S, QB, RB, depth
Needs after draft: OLB/DE, TE, WR, S

Four lineman (Winters is the only pick I like out of them), a CB with a top ten pick, a QB to add to the circus that doesn't seem to be highly thought of by experts, a RB that we arguably overpaid for and a God damn fullback.

    Was Idzik high?

    B. Built a solid foundation for a good team but didn't address some important needs when we could have.

    Im going B- or C+

Campbell is a waste, Richardson is great player but we had a bigger need at say TE or OLB

Love Milliner, Geno, Winters picks. Tommy is the best FB in the draft. Why not get him then?

    i give it a B

counting ivory the 1st 4 picks all have a very real shot at starting this year.

thats a pretty good draft and will be the stepping stone to returning to competitive football

love the oline pickups suddenly the depth there doesn't look so bad.

    the dline will be elite

    overall its a good start

Addressed the line well enough, got some pieces for the defense that I'm sure Rex can work with, Smith was the best available and could be a new franchise guy (could), but they got O passing weapons which was a big need in my head.

I give it a B-, i think they could have done better and a few things are up in the air, but I get most of their decisions and we should have some talent to start right away or else help that competition jazz.

So whose gonna be our S this year then? And our starting TE is Cumberland? And whose our OLB going to be come week 1? This draft was not a good one for me at all. Very very disappointed in the fact that major needs were predominantly ignored. There's no reason to not take Cornelius Washington or Baccari Rambo in round 6. There's no reason to not come away with a TE in round 3 when there were still a few good ones on the board. Sorry but this draft has D+ or C- at best in my eyes. I like the players but this draft should have gone much differently.

I'm with you. I didn't have high expectations for this season (6 wins) now that seems like a pipe dream. At this point just hope we tank and get a top three pick and address are numerous needs next year and with cap space opening make a run at some talent. Probably draft a legit QB next year as I don't think Smith has what it takes.

    I will give this a B grade.

The first three picks were fine in retrospect. I liked the Geno pick, because he offers upside, excitement, and a fresh start at QB possibly. For a second round pick, I thought it was excellent.

Picking up Ivory was a good move, especially for what we need. It might not be the homerun upside that many of us may have been hoping with a 4th rd pick, but I do think he upgrades our RB situation by a fair margin.

Winters and Oday, I understand as well. Not exactly sexy picks that will cause excitement, but they could be good foundation players and can be good depth, something we've struggled with in the near past.

I absolutely HATE the last two picks. I would much rather go and try to find players with upside, guys that can boom or bust, along with UDFA, so we know pretty quick if the person is a fit or not. That late in the draft, might as well take guys that have very good tools, but limited production, and hope we can coach him up.

The draft started out well, but it really tapered off. If we picked higher upside guys in the last two rounds, I would've graded this an A- or B+ at worst.

I want to save this thread and get back to it 4 years from now. I love looking back and seeing how well we, as fans, "rate" the draft.

    I gave it a C.
Jets said they wanted to get faster, they didn't.
Jets seem to have wanted to solidify both sides of the line. Okay, but that makes the #1 pick not fit the mold when there are still stud OL on the board that would be set for years at the position. They did add a lot of depth, but....

the last 2 picks were uninspired at best, especially since in the modern football game FB's are dinosaurs.

You build teams inside out and next years draft will have better skill players. Jets got all of the big uglies out of the way this draft and will be able to draft explosive players next year early and often. I loved this draft, defensive line and offensive line look set for awhile now, traded for a really good RB and drafted our potential franchise QB. WR wasn't a huge need this year but could become much bigger next year if Hill doesn't look better and Holmes ends up getting cut. This was the correct way to draft this year. Ony thing I would have liked is a Safety because I have no clue who will start opposite Landry this year.
