The draft is going into the later rounds and all the names that were thrown around here have been taken:

    Tyler Eifert (Bengals)
    Zach Ertz (Eagles)
    Gaven Escobar (Cowboys)
    Travis Kelce (Chiefs)

We are in desperate need of one, so who do you all think we should take?

I think trading for Brent Celek might be a strong option. He'd be nothing more than a stop gap, but he knows the system from MM, is a solid player and relatively young. The Eagles drafted Ertz and signed James Casey so Celek might be the odd man out with his 3.5 mil cap hit.

In terms of the draft, I like Levine Toilolo, Jake Stoneburner, Joseph Fauria and Dion Simms.

Dion Sims is intriguing. HUGE guy, but looks very stiff and raw.

He also only played something like 2 games in his senior year. Not sure about him. He is a big ass target though

I doubt this is figuring into their thinking much, but the fact that we've waited this long for a tight end does make me curious what they think of Hayden Smith's ability to actually turn into something.

At this point in the draft, it's better to go BPA than it is to target a specific posistion.

I really like this idea. I don't want to give up any future draft picks, though, so I'm not sure what or who we would trade.

Fauria is a solid pick. Might still be around in the 6th and would make the roster.

Stoneburner in the 7th is ok with me, but yeah im pretty comfortable with Cumberland, Smith and a FA veteran at TE for a year, and then get a top TE in FA or the draft next year.

Jimmy Graham and Jermichael Finley are free agents next year.

I say we draft a WR in round one and give Graham whatever he wants to come here as a UFA.
