Geno will prove ppl wrong...he can succeed under Lee/Marty. Pat White was a baseball/football hybrid and did his damage on feet more....diff player.

Smith is a very good prospect, and at 39 makes total sense to take the chance at QB the Jets need to take. It also finally means the end of Sanchez era, which has value in itself.
How the hell are we going to fill out our roster this year? We need like another 12 starters and have only a few picks and very limited cap space...which will only decrease if we cut Sanchez...I hope there is a plan for this lol

You guys are fucking ridiculous. I understand some of you aren't happy with pick- but as a fan whose seen some of the worst quarterback play in the league the last few years, I can't tell you how excited I am to have Sanchez off the field. This guy was projected to go in the top 10. Some people even had it him at #1! I don't blame them for taking Geno, in fact, I'm glad Idzik had the guts to do it. Even if Geno lasts us just a year until we get a better quarterback, I'm excited to see him play. I have to admit I'm cautiously optimistic.
