I am ok with the picks. I think the Jets made the best of their situation according to their board. I think had the opportunity presented itself they would have traded down. It is a deep draft and we have alot of holes.
The exact quote was "Certain people I know got excited about it". Idzik laughs becuase Rex knows he is referring to him. This is clearly Idzik's pick. I am not sure how you include Rex when he says "Certain people". We have seen Rex excited about picks before and "Certain people" is never his answer.
I am also probably the only guy that watched and listened to it before making a comment instead of just being emotional and defending anything that could be construed remotely negative.
I think you read it wrong but even if you didn't I don't give a crap what Rex thinks of a pick. Rex ain't the GM.
Looks to me that you didn't view the entire vedio. There was an indication/reaction towards the end of the press conference regarding the surprise to the staff that Milner was still available with the 9th pick. Rex had the biggest smile on his face - his expression of elation tells me that hes was definitely on board with this pick. You should look at this conference again and re think your views on this.
