it's not hard to figure out. that the jets are going to a 4-3 defense with the pick of richardson.the pick of milner was the best available pick at nine.I know that most jet fans were looking foward to other players.but the picks of milner and richardson may turn out to be winners.
Sheldon was ranked very high in alot of places, again Idzik stated he would pick whoever was highest on his board, and so far it seems like he is. Again we took two players that i never considered we would, but at this point i have to support and hope like hell it all works out.
Iwas pissed at first but I have settled down and actually thought about this. No player worth taking at 13 on the offensive side of the ball IMO. This can make us elite at a particular group aka giants. Also it makes are backers better. Maybe have Harris return to form and keeps lineman off Davis. Davis is so fast for an ilb and I think can play like vilma did for us, sideline to sideline racking up tackles. Set at corner with milliner and cro and wilson in slot. Landry good safety and hopefully we take a safety in round 4 or so. Of not i believe in bush and Allen. Defense IMO will be back to elite for and will be younger and faster. More playmaking ability
Yea I learned that last year when we took coples over Ingram and my first reaction I was mad. Then I watched coples and I think he will be a stud. And adding Richardson to coples and wilk(Ellis, Garay also) and it makes everyone's job easier. Im looking forward to having an elite defense again
If Harris played OLB and Davis MLB I think Davis would beat Harris to the ball on a sweep lol Harris is that slow and Davis is that fast
1. I don't like the pick 2. That said, I support the kid. Here's small hoping that he pans out. 3. If Ellis and Wilkerson can constantly command double team (Wilkerson has; Ellis will have to) then Coples and Richardson will almost always have 1-on-1 match up; which necessitates that Wilkerson occupy LDE spot. Ellis will play at 1T between LG and C. Coples will play RDE, at 7T against LT alone. Richardson will apply pressure up the middle from 3T position. In theory it could work - and it could work well. Given that Jets have one of the premier minds of DL plays (Rex Ryan + Karl Dunbar) this shift has a very promising future indeed. As long as the LB corps don't bomb the coverage, they should be able to get the job done. 4. Milliner pick tells me that, Jets might be in for a CB pick at lower round (1), they intend to restructure Cro's contract again next year (2) and will drop him afterwards (3). He will be 30 in that time span after all - so it is indeed logical to think about replacing him (and Revis, who is 1 year younger.)
