As for Jarvis Jones, he's a HUGE risk too cause of his spinal stenosis injury. His career could very well be cut short to begin with.
This Richardson guy better pan the fuck out to justify taking a defensive lineman for the 3rd year in a row in the 1st round.

I did not not know that Richardson was a good fit for our defense. But I am sure Rex and the FO know better. I am not unhappy with the pick. The Jets have done well on their DL picks. I love building the team through the trenches like the Seahawks did. I wish we got a guard with the 9 but having top CBS are essential to compete in today's NFL. I don't have a problem with this draft. I think the circumstances did not play out well for the Jets with Jordan, Cooper and Austin getting taken and it being such a weak draft. But I have no problem with what we did,

I don't hate the Richardson pick.. Like I said, he looks like Muhammad Wilkerson on tape. My problem is, we needed a freaking OLB. And I think that Milliner is good, but we don't need a damn corner. Draft a safety better off and were good!
Really thought you guys were gonna get Star. He fits the D the Jets play way better thean Richardson IMO.
Just curious but who is going to rush the QB? This guy? Not likely. If we were going D there we needed to go edge rusher and we whiffed big time. You could say that CB might have been a need as Wilson sucks but DL was far from a 1st round need especially after we have drafted 3 in the 1st 3 rounds the previous two drafts. Wilkerson, Coples and Ellis. No reason at all to go DL here.
