Jarvis Jones or the TE at 13. But I got a feeling in my ass that we're takin Geno. U guys are gonna kill yourselves
Of course i would, pope cant block, tackle, or catch. Plus hes like 80 years old. How many hits do you think he'd last? SOJ
I somewhat pity Dee Milliner; he'll be unfairly compared to Revis his whole career. Then I remember all the money he's going to be making, and I don't feel quite as bad.
I dont love the Dee M. Pick. Jets up next, the Draftpedia app tumblr account is live sketching the draft, they put up this picture of Dee Milliner when he got picked: draftpedia.tumblr.com/image/48895628193 The app itself is actually pretty handy, tells you stats on any nfl or nba player ever. I dont like the pick, hes gonna be stuck in revis' shadow. I really did think we needed a QB.
You are garbage on offense for years on end and you use your first 2 picks on defense. Typical Jets. New GM, same crap with this franchise....
BRO we got rid of the best CB in football 27 yrs old for 1 pick!!! do u understand how much pressure this kid will have on him?? .....oh and another DT ??? 3 in 3 yrs?? .....lol maybe third time the charm
I think people need to realize that Dee Milliner won't necessarily be replacing Revis because we still have Cro here. It also means the coaching staff has little confidence in Kyle Wilson
There really wasn't any offensive talent worthy of drafting where the Jets were picking. You may not agree with which Defensive player they chose but they really didn't have much of a choice. They will get their offensive players in rounds 2-4.
I'm not going to freak out, even though I wanted different players. Both of these guys can turn a corner. But one thing is for sure... Rex is history after this season.
didnt see that coming... I was secretly hoping EJ would be our R2 pick... I wonder if we'll grab one of the other guys tomorrow.
"DEE MILLINER CB, Alabama, 6-0, 201 THE BASICS The Jets created a big need at cornerback by trading away Darrelle Revis and this is the man they’ve chosen to replace him. Milliner was the best cornerback on the best defense in college football season, winning a national title with Alabama and being named a unanimous first-team All-American. Milliner now joins a secondary with Antonio Cromartie and could start right away next to him, earning the assignment over the incumbent Kyle Wilson. DID YOU KNOW? Milliner has been first at his position all of his career. He was the first cornerback taken in this NFL Draft and was the top-ranked cornerback recruit coming out of high school. OF NOTE Milliner played from early on at Alabama, finding time on the field as a freshman – no small accomplishment at Alabama. That season he intercepted one pass. “He’s football savvy,” Jon Gruden said of him. “He’s been in a multiple Nick Saban defense which is going to allow him to be a fast track player in Rex Ryan’s defense.” THE NUMBER Last season, as a junior, Milliner allowed just 13 completions in 76 pass attempts thrown his way, a 17.1 completion percentage. Though he was rarely thrown at last season, he still totaled two interceptions and broke up 20 passes." http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2013/04/nfl_draft_2013_first_look_at_j.html
