Love the pick. I was psyched to see the Rams trade up to take Austin and Mingo taken. Those were the two players I wanted no part of that were so often linked to going to the Jets.
i would have surely taken warmack in from of milliner. they were just saying he switched sides to play the short side of the field always. thats not the type of guy i want with the number 9 pick in the draft. you want a mainstay offensive lineman or an impact guy. i dont see him as a huge impact guy. but time will tell.
Welcome to NY Milliner. I feel sorry for you, because I know my fellow Jets fans, and these assholes are gonna compare you to Revis your entire career. Prepare to get booed in your own field for letting up a couple of deep passes. Godspeed, and May God have mercy on your soul.
Wow, bro. Overreact much? Damn. Do us a favor and just quit being a Jets fan. And don't come back when this draft is shown to be the beginning of our inevitable turnaround.
Draft offense or a pass rush with 13, and I have no problem. Welcome aboard, erase some Wide Receivers!!
Oh I will, but these are fucking NYJ fans. They'd boo the Pope if he showed up to the field on a Sunday.
I think most of us are just sick of corners. Whether theyre coming or going...its always about the corners. I cant think about corners anymore.
well at this pace at least we are getting the ship ready for Teddy Bridgewater - not to be a debbie downer but this pick makes no sense
This kid for at least 2 years will not even be close to Revis skill (and odds are never will). He won't help the def immediately, as most rookie corners don't. We drafted Wilson Rd 1. It failed, bite the bullet. Go LB/OLB. We need pass rush. We don't replace a guy we just released with an inferior product. Rather draft a guard who I know will start. Fuck this trade. Awful! I don't see wilson being gone, he should move to safety. We need safeties and his skillset seems a better fit for one of the safety positions. To that extent this pick may make the most sense as it allow us to make the most of our existing roster. If we are going to finish dealing with our cap issues, fix the CB situations, get a S, and still have some cash to possibly pick up a FA or two to fill in gaps.
Milliner is a stud. I like the pick. Saved cap space, still have a first round pick and a possible shutdown corner. Glass half-full guys.
