Anything that keeps Ducasse off the field and speeds up getting him off the team is fine with me.

Also, I wasn't sure the deal made sense anyway. The Vikings are still giving Ponder another year and they already went out and got Matt Cassel.

If Dion Jordan is still there at 9, no way we are going to trade down.

Getting either Cooper or Warmack is a must imo. We have a giant hole at OG and from what I hear those two are pretty safe bets. The other pick should be a passrusher imo.

Minn needs to add another pick I think.

Btw, due to my job managing the relationship with NFL I got VIP passes to the NFL Draft.

Has anyone ever been? It says I have access to the mezz and lobby. What would that entail for those that go all the time?

If it is true, I agree, another pick if they want #9.

This was the kid's tweet 6 hours ago:

    Lafferty ‏@S_LYNGSTAD 6h
Anyone claiming that they know who the Vikings are targeting or who they want to pick if available...is misinformed.

Looks like a throw things at the wall and see what sticks tweet.

I'll be pretty pissed off if we trade up in this draft.

According to him, there are only 2 states for a team: champions or losers with nothing in between. Not such things as competitive either. So unless Jets win SB, the frowny face stays.

Actually, per his definition, the smily face is only acceptable on the day SB is won. Because the very next day is a new season and -- again -- you accomplished nothing.

I'd like to keep the 9 and trade down with the 13. Lots of needs on this team.

Add to that list likely cuts of Holmes and Sanchez and I really don't see how this can be called anything but "rebuilding".

That's what everyone wants. That's why everyone assumed when that "Jets announce intention to trade down" stuff happened, all Jets fans with the exception of a few, started calculating the worth the of the 13 pick either in their heads or with that tard value chart thingie.

What if they deal the 9? Will you poop a hairball?

Jets could conceivably trade up with 9 and down with 13 and pretty much lose nothing.
