Trade #13 to 49ers for #31 and#34

Round 1

#9
WR,Tavon Austin

Explanation
He is a fast explosive player and can pretty much do anything, anywhere on O
lets face it whns the last time we Trulyhad a player of that caliber playing offense,he could change a game(just as revis could) he can catch... only problem is his height...... this is why i dont have a concern with his height his vertical was a 32' just because he is 5'9 doesnt mean he doesnt have a shot at being a #2 WR or even #1 Wes Welker is 5'9 look at what he turned out to be and he isnt NEARLY as fast. Lets face it if we dont get him at #9 if he is even still there then..... at #13 he wont be on the board
you can call #9 a reach but i call it being quicker to the BPA

#31
S,Matt Elam
He is a top notch S he can wrap up,rarely misses tackles,he can cover will plays in the box well, and can also be a game changer he never gives up on
a play and his pursuit to the player is vicious. he has a nose for the ball and can be a big time leader and player. he has blazing speed when rushing in for the tackle and he almost seems natural hiding the blitz. he is a hard hitter,i promise Elam can lay the wood on someone,to me he is like LaRon Landry BUT can cover better.

Round 2

#34
OLB,Damontre Moore
Once considered a top 5 prospect had a poor pro day and has really dropped down into the second round but he obviously wont be there for long. so i think we take him here... He is a big 6'4 250 pound LB with a 40 time of 4.7 BUT if you look at someone like Manti it isnt always about speed
its his playing speed.. he is explosive off the line and can make plays(btw he is faster then Te'o) we need a pass rusher and this is the BPA at that point.

#39
HB,Giovanni Bernard
His 40 isnt the fastest EVER. but he has fluid hip and can see holes well
he has great vision, knows his lanes and can make defenders miss all day,he has some of the best hands in the draft i like Gio because he can do it all he is a KR,PR and even ccan line up at WR. Gio provides a big help in a WCO system he thrives in it ! he is a must have. he also utilizes the stiff arm better then anyone i know.

Round 3
#71
TE,Jordan Reed
He isnt the fastest but he has solid hands and can block pretty well theres isnt much to say on him but then Escobar and Ertiz will be gone so he is the best player at his position.

Round 4
#107
,DE/OLB Cornelius Washington
I watched him play in the senior bowl and personally he was just as impressive as Ziggy Ansah,he got at the QB almost every play i think he as a nose for the ball and he comes playing down on the ball carrier its just a slight chance he skids down to round 4.

Round 5
CB,.W Webb

Round 6
DT,Akiem Spence

Round 7
Nico Johnson

If i could change one pick i made it would be the Moore pick in the 2nd round i really like DJ Hayden i see Revis qualities.. call me crazy fro comparing a Rook to Revis but he can do it in my eyes he has Speed, good instincts, can cover man to man well likes to jam his zone is a little ehhhh..but with progression there are only a hand full of CB's that are worth it and a good depth of Olbs but in Hayden i see it but he needs to get better at tackling but cromartie did so lets see. here are some highlights

Most ideal mock I've seen...fills a lot of holes and brings aboard a ton of potential playmakers, hope it plays out like this

Sign me up for this. The more I see of Elam, the more I hope we pick him up in that late 1st area. If Moore ends up falling this far I don't see how we pass on him, even for DJ Hayden as you were talking about. It wasn't long ago many didn't think he'd get to us at the 9, but more importantly, he could be that pass-rushing presence we lack. Our secondary did fine without Revis last year, and with more pressure on the QB they should play even better. Many may not like the Gio pick, but I'm a fan. You did a great job of giving us what we need on defense, and adding tons of explosiveness to our offense. Hoping this is the sort of direction Idzik goes in.

I actually hope we trade back a little bit from 9 to like 16 and find a way to get Kenny Vaccaro and Tavon Austin and have an extra second and get DJ Hayden and an Alex Okafor or a Zach Ertz

Couldnt complain with this draft. Main thing I would change is drafting kelce over reed. We need a tight end that can block

I think you could get more from SF if they move up. Maybe their 1st, the 2nd they got from KC and a 5th or 6th (who in all honesty isn't making their roster anyway).

Looks similar to my mock of a few days ago except I think we'd go OL with that 1st pick. I think Austin is the sexy pick but unfortunately OL is a major major need. We have to remember we lost Slausan and I don't know if anybody has any faith in Vlad. I know the rebuild will take time but Warmack and Cooper are franchise type guards.

the only thing i would change is trading out bernard for an ol.

austin is a jack of all trades so he can help in the backfield also.it is imperative we find a quality ol in this draft and the 2nd round would be a good place to get one.

other than that great job

That'd be a great trade down. Wonder if San Fran likes anyone enough to give up those picks.

we would have to get 3 picks at least for SF to move up that far. the 31 and 34 is good, then maybe a 4 or a 5.

I would like this draft, but I don't like all the players chosen.

Austin for one, is someone I have my doubts about. we have Kerley playing the slot and Holmes' role is similar to a slot receiver as well. we don't need another one.

Gio Bernard I like, but I wouldn't waste a high pick on a RB.

Jordan Reed is very similar to Dustin Keller. I'd rather have Eifert, Ertz or Kelce.

it's not like they need the picks. the Niners aren't weak anywhere.

I'm not concerned with his height like i was, because he has a nice vertical and isnt like holmes or kerley in the fact that his seperation isnt breaking a jam,or using the double move....... he is plain out just as fast as Chris Johnson. he WILL get seperation. Plus i think Holmes is on his way out anyway.
Austin/Hill/Kerely would be it after. not bad..

Idzik should be fired immediately if he made this draft. I hope Austin is gone before our pick so that we aren't tempted.

I really like it. Any mock that has Tavon and Gio are great IMO. Might be inclined to go QB with the Elam pick, but other than that I can not complain really. I also think their will be better TE's available in the 3rd (Kelce and Escobar), but I like Reed a lot also. Moore and Washington there are great also... Overall, very nice job.

I like it but would modify it slightly to take a TE with #39 and best available OL at #72.

Love Elam, Washington, and Webb picks.
