You would think he would be overshadowed by Tavon Austins explosive play, but not really i was looking at Geno Smith highlights and Bailey has way more catches and is a complete WR,this draft is balls deep in WR talent but i think Bailey is a great prospect his 2012 stats Catches: 114 TD's: 25 Yards: 1622 in a game against Baylor he had 13 catches for 303 yards and 5 TD's he is one of my favorite WR's in this draft He is 5'10 and 188 Lbs. If the Jets were to make the bad decision to draft Geno Smith then I wouldn't mind Bailey in the later rounds. Smith and Bailey have played together since HS I believe.
I took Baily in both of the mocks we ran here. I think the kid is vastly under rated by fans and draft experts. He's a solid third round guy. Does every thing well and has good speed, even if it was over shadowed by Austin's.
I have him in the third round in are mocks also. He will be a solid #2 in this league and maybe one day a 1. He makes plays and has really good hands. If we do draft geno then it's almost a must to grab this guy to go along with him. They have great chemistry
I don't put too much stock in WVU's inflated stats. Bailey is not a special athlete like Austin or even Robinson, and is a lot like Kerley. I would prefer a bigger, more polished WR like Woods or even take a flier on a freak with issues like Da'Rick Rogers. We need to find a replacement for Holmes.
Austin expressed he likes the jets whole staff and they liked him too and they wanted to make something happen Austin went on to say they will probably go Defensive player first then offense -- but anything can happen basically pointing out "I hope I'm still on the board for pick 13" maybe the jets won't trade any picks maybe we go tavon on our 9th my point is it would be sick to have both of them
I agree on Woods. I think the kid is going to be a great NFL receiver. Honestly it seems like you can't go wrong at WR in this draft. Lets hope the Jets get in on that action.
