I understand the team will be completely different after the draft. But Hobbes is over here predicting a playoff berth.
wins and the sched are 2 different things, it was said we had a soft sched which I disagree w/ based on all the playoff teams we faced.
It was soft... Bills(twice),Dolphins(twice),Chargers,Titans,Jaguars,Cardinals,Rams That's 9 games against teams with a record below .500.
Miami was not bad, SL went 1-0-1 against SF and they aren't bad, we had a few bad teams on the sched as every team has but the strength at the top made the sched a decent one. It was far from soft.
 Too bad it is going to fall on deaf ears. Hobbes really could care less what the actual truth is. He would rather speculate by placing the blame on Greene and call Sanchez a leader. His post never ceases to amaze me. It's crazy isn't it? Hobbes is so obsessed with Sanchez that he can't handle the truth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXoNE14U_zM
One can only hope, but its not very likely... Even if we have a great draft, its hard to see 4 rookies being major contributors. We need a draft like Seattle had last year. Lets hope Idzik learned a thing or two over there.
Imthink its possible certainly.p They won 6 with trash on offense. Theyve upgraded the offensive system. Holmes, Hill return healthy.kerley got a shitload of extra reps. Youve replaced one old guard with a better old guard. lG.,is a legit question. But..barring injury the offense can only be better. On Defense you cast off old slow guys that were hurting you, for young guys that have been in the system...not draftees. And at least Free Agents.right now you are a safety down, unless Rex thinks Josh Bush is ready. Dawan Landry = Bell. Frint 7, younger, faster, growing Tell me how they are worse than 6-10. MM, and healthy skill pososition players, is 3 games or more on the plus side. This team has a solid foundation.we got fucked on the edges last year.
Queer boys, what NFL caliber QB, would throw his teammates under the bus. The p,ay is clear to see. And the guy at GGN broke it down woth oictures long after i pointed it out. Ian Eagles ridiculous call in the moment is forming your mindless opinion,,,,which is something Kirwan goes out of his way to point out in his book. In the moment..announcers can barely tell you shit.especially on a broken p,ay, three levels deep, The fumble. Is Sanchezs fault. Ball security is a sin...but as to how he got there.,,the "he ran into moore blindly" is bs.
Oh, Ill repeat it. I hope your man enough to carry that sig thru 2014, If this team falls short I will. Check my avvy. On my last bet, i was supposed to carry it thru January. But its still there. Put your money where your mouth is.
Did you even read my other post? What kind of coaches would let a QB take the blame for that kind of play when he wasn't the one at fault? What kind of player is Green for not speaking out? You don't think the rest of the players and coaches knew what the play call was and who the ball was supposed to go to? And while Sanchez is taking a beating in the media for that play, not one player or coach comes out to say, hey, it wasn't his fault? Instead they throw him under the bus by saying it was supposed to go to the FB and Sanchez forgot the play? Reality beckons! I don't care what some Jets blogger has to say. His breakdown, much like your post, was completely inaccurate. He has no clue what the play call was or who the ball was supposed to go to. I don't care what the announcers say. They have no clue what the play call was and who the ball was supposed to go to. I certainly don't care what you say, as you have no clue as well. I care what the coaches say. I care what the player himself has to say. They know what the play was and who the ball was supposed to go to. The play is clear to see but you are blinded by your obsession with Sanchez.
No....Sanchez did not "run blindly" into Moore's ass. He had his eyes wide open. That "breakdown" is the most biased thing I've seen next to your posts defending Sanchez' play. It's a totally embarrassing event that perfectly encapsulates what this Jet team has become. Accept it and move on.
Were getting ready for a new season, time for a clean slate! Lets start wanting the best for each other and our team. We have enough enemies on the outside lets put our opinions aside and unite against the Jet haters. If your wearing Jet green your a PART of my team! Enough of this bs. New year= New hope, new attitude. May the best qb win, & lead us to the big stage. Lets surprise this pos media aka circus team that gives us no respect or chance. Lets show them we can play a lot better than they can report. 2013-2014 Jets lets GO!
Hobbes is doing his typical ass clown dodging of the points that directly refute his and repeating non sequiturs that don't address anything. It is pure cowardice
All this sounds plausible except for the most important thing.........our Qb sucks worse than any starter in the NFL! I assume your assuming that he plays much better than the shitty way he has in his entire career? I believe our defense will play better to a degree, but our offense not so much. The west coast offense may be the most complicated for a Qb to learn and this is Nacho's 1st go at MM's system. I highly doubt we will see him acting like a true Qb at the line changing plays and such. Nacho will probably do what he has in the past..... Hand off a great deal of time, a play action occasionally, and some roll outs. He will do what he has always done, eye his target, pump fake to his target, then throw a pick. I hope we draft defense, cause it doesn't matter what weapons Nacho has. He will stink up the field chances are. Sure he will have the occasional good game blip on the radar screen, but his career speaks bust!
Q Our QB sucked last year when Jeremy Kerley was by far the best weapon he had most of the year, if our QB has weapons he is good. you don't win 4 road playoff games w/ bad QBs, maybe you can steal one or 2 but 4 over 2 years? beating the hottest teams in the conf each year? This is what you guys fail to grasp, it's all about what have you done for me lately w/ you guys.
It's not "what have you done for me lately" , its more like what have you done to this point. Any Qb in the NFL his rookie and sophomore seasons could have completed the minute simple tasks he did to "help" our team. He does nothing spectacular, his mistake to good play ratio is pitiful, he is a wuss in the pocket, and his mind doesn't work at the speed of the NFL. He is a top 5 draft pick who has 4 full seasons under his belt and his TD to Turnover ratio is what? Of the Qb's that the Jets have had since Namath, rank them junc. I'm anxious to see where you place Nacho? He sucks, and your best argument is that he was on the team when they won 4, count me, 4 playoff games. Really? When the trend of his career says he will never lead us to the "Big one"? And I'm average as a fan?
what he has done to this point is in only 4 seasons win more playoff games(by double the amount) than any QB in Jets history but that's not enough, we need great fantasy #s to prove he can play! ranking QBs post Namath 1. Vinny- this is based off of one season though, 1998 was the best season in franchise history for a QB 2. Chad 3. Sanchez- as he plays more he will move up but he only has 4 years and doesn't have a 1998 Vinny or '02 Chad season on his resume yet. 4. O'Brien 5. Todd he almost helped us get to the "big one" TWICE, we didn't lose either title game b/c of him. If his D stepped up we make 2 SBs and have 2 chances to win. he has taken us closer to a SB than any QB since Namath.
