Getting Jones and Demontre Moore would be awesome (asuming Eifert doesn't fall). Suddenly we would have some legitimate pass rushers.
That is a very nice draft NFL. The JETS have to address the offense and defense with it's first round picks. Tyler Eifert will be a nice pickup for the JETS at TE.
how about this: Trade 9 to STL for #16 and #47 Trade 13 to SF for #31 and #34 and a later round pick 16. Jonathan Cooper 31. Tyler Eifert or Zach Ertz 34. EJ Manuel 39. Robert Woods 47. Jamie Collins or best available pass rusher.
They would do it for a shot at Tavon Austin, since they traded Percy Harvin away. That team needs playmakers not named Adrian Peterson in a bad way.
Ehh, I don't know. I'm not a big fan of any QB in this draft other than Geno. I think that we need to address safety and like I said before, I'm not a fan of picking a Guard that early. Also, if DeAndre Hopkins was to drop because of this recent hotel crap that he's involved in, I'd take him in a heartbeat at 39.
Sure, they might look to move up. However, there are multiple teams looking to move down. That said, you're not going to get a King's ransom for 9 or 13 (ala 2 1st rounders). The Vikings are aware that there is more talent toward the end of the round this year. I'm not alluding to them NOT trading up. It's just going to come in the form of multiple round picks or even 2014 picks. Vikings have a lot of other holes as well.

It's amazing the amount of people that think we should trade up in this draft. I don't get it. I just don't get it
last year experts had Decastro going near the top 10 as the greatest guard prospect since the last greatest guard prospect and he fell to #24 or something similar
Yeah I would be completely upset with this draft. Not a fan of trading up at this point. Plus I do not like EJ Manuel, plus we wouldn't get the 23 and 25 for the 13. In having trouble thinking to myself that we'll get it for the 9.
This is very true. I'm now in much doubt that we can get the 2 1sts. Only way that we can pull it off now is if we start to show a lot of interest on those top prospects that teams want to trade up for. And even like that its going to be tough to pull it off. If we can only get one of the firsts from the Vikings and say, a second and maybe something else then I'm still doing it. Take out the Eifert pick and maybe go BPA at their second or Gio Bernard. I'd still like to keep every other selection the way it is though. I like all four of Jones, Elam, Warford, and Rambo.
i keep seeing you say this and i wounder how you can be so sure, he has been checked out by more doctors in the last month then you or i will evey be and has past every test they have givin him. his play at GA speaks for it self. plays big in big games and against NFL talent almost every week. NO one can say for sure, for me it's worth the chance.
I love Eifert but I don't think he should go that high....maybe he's just taking advantage of a lackluster top class. Anyway I would be VERY happy with this class....I like ALL of the players taken here.
