Apparently the Mercury News thinks so, take a look at their NFL Mock Draft http://www.mercurynews.com/raiders/ci_23086929/steve-corkrans-nfl-mock-draft
I would be amazed this close to the draft - there would need to be some kind of scandal or injury scare - perhaps we could start one?
Its the most unpredictable draft aside from #1 pick in a long long time...Alot of players are possibilities in any area. It is also becoming a bit more certain that Nassib is going to the Bills at 8. I'm with the guy that the Cardinals need a offensive lineman for Palmer I'd be stoked like you all with Dion
That's a pretty poorly thought out mock IMO but I guess anything can happen. If Jordan falls to 9 I will be more than excited.
what do you see wrong with the picks he gave? I dont see anything odd about most of them honestly. Its true, if Jaguars pass on Jordan at #2 we could get lucky I think
You mean him and the other half of the United States who have him going top 5 LOL The guy is an animal
I guess upon review it's not that out to lunch. It's a bit strange that if the main need for the Raiders is pass rush that they'd go with Ansah over Jordan but I guess it's not that off the wall if they want a DE vs OLB, I also don't know if they play a 3-4 or 4-3 so that could factor in as well. Only thing they aren't factoring in is trades up and down. For example the Bills, they could probably get Nassib in the late 20s (honestly I'm not convinced he's a first rounder at all) so could trade down or just go in a completely different direction and hope he's available at their 2nd rounder (or trade back into the bottom of the 1st to get him if he's still available). Best case scenario is that the Jags pass on him, Smith gets drafted ahead of us and there is one other surprise riser. That could lead to Jordan being available at the 9 spot and that would be awesome.
Rhodes is in the vicinity of BPA at 13. It depends on other teams and how they reach but I wouldn't be surprised to have it come down to him or Vaccaro or Werner on that pick.
I'd be delighted if Jordan fell all the way to #9, but I'm not counting on it by any means. I think it's all dependent on if Geno Smith is off the board when the Bills pick. The Bills may feel there will be a rush on QBs like there is nearly every year, and they won't want to be left out. If that goes down, it's entirely possible Jordan could fall to 9.
