Sanchez has done more in his career than Garrard and McElroy combined still sucks but he'll be our best chance to win 5 games this year
If he would learn how to hold on to the ball, hed cut his turnoverd down by a third. Its not secure when hes moving with it, and its too low when hes looking to throw it.
I am sure he has been coached on what to do and when he still doesn't do it after 4 years it's time to move on.
you didn't strike any nerves, if you don't think an average of 20 PPG losses are thrashing I can't help you. They lost all 5 games on the EC and 3 of them they lost by 20 or more pts. Favre is headed to the Hall, not for his work w/ us though. Did you know the Redskins of 2011 were a great team? it's true, they beat the eventual SB champs TWICE! how great were the Jets, skins, Giants, Vikings, etc... that beat the mighty 9-7 Cardinals of 2008? amazing! The quotes you posted were about ABILITY not actual results. I have never questioned Namath as an all time talent but the results don't match up. That cannot be disputed. what would arguing w/ nitwits do for him exactly? the only way he can combat the idiocy is to play well again.
McElroy, is not in Sanchez universe, let alone on the same planet talent wise. Garrard, maybe as, or more talented than Sanchez, but....he is as frail as Pennington, and a little long in the tooth.
Yes, very forward looking. 4 years, 1 year as a starter in college. Get a grip.you groom talent. You cannot blame Schottenheimer, and Sparano...on Sanchez...and fwiw...you dont know what hes been coached. Those ridiculous bastards brought in a baseball player to teach him to slide...? Really? aYFKM? These guys have been fucking around...for the first time since USC, hes got a legit coaching staff. But hey...I guess you're probably right...now that most of the building blocks are in place...its time to set ourselves back another 3 years. Tell me again Don, how many pkayers in the history of the NFL beat el taco loco, to 30 wins... And of that group, which ones got four road playoff wins in that time frame?
At least 8. Probably 10. They won 6 with absolute trash on offense last year, and replaced age with speed in the front 7. Dont believe the negative hype. Personally we need a thread with the twitter handles for all of the sports media, predicting a 3-13 year, so at the bye, we can question their credentials en masse.
Being better and accomplishing more is two separate things. Garrard been to a pro bowl something Sanchez probably won't ever do.
I've seen the play many times. You apparently have not. That link is the biggest joke I have ever seen. Where do I begin? Let's look at reality instead of speculation from some Jets blog site. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/stor...-famous-fumble Here is a post game interview with Rex: http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/art...layed-Us/270e4501-73b0-4604-92c9-0c52a1ac5110 Why is the head coach and Sanchez making up this stuff to cover for Greene if he is the one that made the mistake? Hilliard isn't accepting a fake handoff. According to the coaches and Sanchez himself, Hilliard was supposed to get the ball. I don't care what some blogger who has no clue thinks about who was supposed to get the ball. The coaches and QB told us themselves. Mark turned out left instead of right making him late on the hand off so Hilliard was already past him and Mark could not complete the handoff. As soon as Mark sees that Hilliard is past him, he immediately turns around to run. He is never looking to hand it to Greene. The biggest joke is when the guy says that Wilfork and his sheer strength literally picks up Moore off his feet and thrust him towards Sanchez. This is the pic he uses to try and make his point: http://sportsgeekguy.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/bf5.jpg Notice the view is in front of Moore and not behind. Why use a front view when there are a lot of closer looks at his feet from behind? Hmm? Maybe it is because if you look at the view from behind Moore, you see that Moore's feet are firmly planted on the ground until Sanchez rams him from behind. http://sportsgeekguy.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/sanchez.jpg Please watch the play some more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aj1-8_tBe3c It is a good view from the side angle where you can clearly see Moore's feet the whole time until Sanchez comes careening into him. That blogger is clearly looking to make excuses to cover for Sanchez much like you do. Instead of ignoring what the player and coach actually said and speculating that the play was supposed to go to Greene, let's stick to reality. I never said that the Jets can't win 7 games. You said they can win 11/12 games, a division title and get a home playoff game. If you want to make a bet, why don't you man up and stand by your statements instead of dropping your expectations all the way down to 7 wins? I'll gladly make a sig bet on your statements. If even 1 of your 3 statements comes true, I'll put whatever you want in my sig. When all 3 are proven to be wrong, then I win. Are you in big man? :rofl2:
The Jets are an absolute circus, and this guy is the ultimate ringmaster. Sanchez is the single reason why the Jets will not win a Super Bowl this year. The Jets need to do whatever it takes to cut this loser and get his face out of NY once and for all. I would much rather put in Tebow or Garrard. Those guys are proven winners. Sanchez has yet to do squat other than butt fumble and throw retarded interceptions.
McElroy did okay in his first start considering that he got little to no reps and was inactive for most of the season. Give him time with the starters in mini camp, training camp and preseason and he could be a good QB. Saying McElroy is not in Sanchez "universe" is delusional.
Thanks for taking the time/effort to put that post together. I knew Sanchez had a brain fart there but couldn't come up with all those pics to aid make my argument.
McElroy is a good backup, but not a starter. He's smart and will hold onto the ball rather than make the mistake. BUT he just lacks the arm strength to be a great starter in this league.
we played 6 games against playoff bound teams, 2 games against title game teams, 1 against a SB team, 4 teams that made div rd. It wasn't that soft. I have no idea how many games we will win, we don't even know what the roster will look like yet but teams get good and bad in a hurry in this league so it wouldn't be shocking to surprise the "experts".
C'mon dude. Their only respectable win was against the Colts, who suffered a let down after their huge emotional win against the Packers.
Granted we haven't drafted yet, but as of right now you can't sit here and tell me the Jets can compete with the Pats (twice), Falcons, Saints, Ravens. We'll be lucky to compete with the Steelers, Bengals, Panthers and Dolphins (twice).
