Spurs take game 1. Must take game 2 and seize control Wednesday night.

Replace Spurs with, Knicks, Nuggets, Clippers, Nets, and Pacers and this statement stays the same.

ending to that game was pretty bizarre

it was obviously over with 4 or 5 minutes left

Spurs foul Dwight intentionally as soon as he catches the ball.

Then the Lakers are fouling intentionally with under 30 seconds left.

    Reggie Miller defending Jennings.

"What is he supposed to say? That we're going to get swept?"

I've heard this dumb defense on a lot of occasions.

No, what Jennings should say is "The Heat are a tough opponent. We're going to do our best and see what happens."

"We know we aren't favored, but our plan is take a game at Miami and defend our home court with our fans backing us"

"Miami is the defending champion, they are going to be tough. WE believe we can win and we go into every game with that attitude"

"We are underdogs, it's rare for an 8 seed to upset a 1 seed, but its happened before. Our goal is to add our name to that list."

"The playoffs resets everything. We are all 0-0 right now and we believe we have a shot just like all other 15 teams to win the title"

All statements that are strong worded about winning without guaranteeing stuff

IF you ever played MY NBA player in 2k, you get "interview" after games and there are usually 4 responses, 1 great, 1 good, 1 neutral, 1 bad. I feel like when Jennings plays that game he always chooses the bad answer

Your first potential championship run with Lebron, because we all know lockout titles don't count

Shaq turning the halftime show into a display of "I am great". He just went on a 2 minute thing about how the Heat are struggling because they don't have him.

I think he believes these things.

Yes. If you do make any predictions, just hedge them. Say "I think we're capable of taking this series if we play our best." or something

I don't see why you have to make a prediction like that though. Just give the bland "They are a great team but we are also very good, and we're going to give it our best shot."

I haven't been able to watch this game, but box score says JEnnings is doing his part. The Heat have another level, I just didn't think the Bucks would force it out of them.

If we end up facing you, the games should be decided with a Kmart vs Birdman 1 vs 1 game with points only counting if they scored outside the paint.

Then for the halftime show, Steve Novak vs Birdman where Birdman is only allowed to score from outside the 3 point line and Novak only in the paint. Part 2 of the show, Kmart vs Ray Allen same rules

    :breakdance:

And yeah, I was surprised how quiclly he picked up the role and exceeded in it. Great signing and looks lile Lebron and CO. are keeping him under control

LeBron, Bosh, and Wade still in the game, up 22, with under 4 to play.

But the Heat tanked several games down the stretch by sitting out 3-4 guys a game.

Not exactly sure how this makes sense.

whenever the fans wear the same color it's always because the arena gives out free shirts. Thunder have done it, etc.

Yeah Nike gives you guys the shirts too, it's awesome. I think the Knicks had orange shirt for game 1, but for pickup not on the seats. I don't think very many peopel felt like wearing orange lol

Yeah I think the Thunder did the alternating color thing last year or the year before. One section blue, the next white, the next blue so on.

Maybe Miami was upset about what Jennings said and wanted to run up the score. They're still dunking in the final minute.
