    It's freaking amazing that Revis has a deal with the Bucs and we don't know the terms of the trade yet!

    This is like watching one of those escape artists holding his breath in the tank as he wriggles out of all the chains and we're at the 2 minute 30 mark and going...

    If we traded down with one of the picks and ended up with both I would be ecstatic.

    The Jets do it all the time (well the best players part) - Keyshawn, Abraham, Vilma. I'm sick of us giving away our best players.

    It's hysterical. Kudos to TB/NYJ for putting this trade on lockdown. No one knows jackshit; not the compensation, contract details, etc.

    If so, then I would like to remind everyone that before you get pouty about it, just remember the good times that we had with Revis and hope for the best in the future. There's nothing we can do about it.

    As fans, we root for the name on the helmet, not the name on the shirt. The Jets are flipping an asset that is overpriced considering his relative importance to winning, who is turning 28 this summer into: huge cap relief, and impact players to fill out the roster. With the roster and cap in the state they're in, this is a hell of way to start fresh.

    The trade will be blasted but it shouldn't be. We get two useful picks and Revis is out of the afc long term. Sucks losing such a good player but it was going to happen. Two picks should help accelerate the rebuild.
