Be safe all,,,,,there are a lot of screwed up people in the world that want to hurt us,,,,this was not a misguided kid or kids,,,,these were two individuals that KILLED children hurt over a hundred others and killed a police officer ! Hopefully he gets what is coming to him 10 times over !
They were chucking grenades at the cops while fleeing them in their stolen car. And a guy who had his legs blown off described them perfectly, remembering seeing the one brother set the bag down that exploded.
There were also about 180 people injured, many losing limbs. I agree that the Sikh incident should have gotten more coverage, but this was more than just 3 people affected. The only real history is that the US spoke out in support of them in their conflict with Russia. I don't think it had much to do with Chechnya.
I don't blame you for wanting to see evidence but there is a photo of the white hat guy setting down a backpack right beside the 8 year old boy who died, they stole a car and tossed grenades at cops, had a shootout with the cops (twice I guess)...at some point it all adds up. Not to mention that innocent people don't run. I know if the FBI released my photo as a suspect and I was innocent the first thing I do is call the cops and tell them they have my full cooperation. Hell, I would ask for a police escort to the station out of fear for my safety from an angry mob.
Yeah, precisely. Can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to think they could get away with something like this at this day in age.
There were military contractors and many others walking n the area with backpacks, you got all the evidence you're gonna get
they knew they were not getting away with this.that why they had the homemade grenades and pipe bombs and another pressure cooker. i am guessing they were going to plant a bomb at m.i.t.when the cop showed up. they killed him and bailed. the first shootout was supposed to be the last stand but the kid got too scared, running over his brother as he fled.
"The suspect, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, was found hiding in a boat just outside the area where the police had been conducting door-to-door searches all day, the Boston police commissioner, Edward Davis, said at a news conference Friday night. “A man had gone out of his house after being inside the house all day, abiding by our request to stay inside,” Mr. Davis said, referring to the advice officials gave to residents to remain behind locked doors. “He walked outside and saw blood on a boat in the backyard. He then opened the tarp on the top of the boat, and he looked in and saw a man covered with blood. He retreated and called us.” “Over the course of the next hour or so we exchanged gunfire with the suspect, who was inside the boat, and ultimately the hostage rescue team of the F.B.I. made an entry into the boat and removed the suspect, who was still alive,” Mr. Davis said. He said the suspect was in “serious condition” and had apparently been wounded in the gunfight that left his brother dead." http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/21/us/boston-marathon-bombings.html?hp
Just to put out an opposite view,if your a foreigner and they've pinned you, killed your brother and fabricated,yeah...you'll run.
but why would they run in the first place?when their pics were released they would have surrendered if they were innocent.
This was touched on a few pages ago, but I'm really hoping the point doesn't get lost in the predictable media frenzy to fall over themselves in praise of law enforcement and a job well done. Was it necessary, or even a good idea, to lock down an entire city for a day? Within an hour a newly liberated resident spotted a trail of blood leading to a bloody fugitive and dialed 911. Whoop, there it is. Granted, I'm operating with the benefit of hindsight, which makes me super smart about these things. I just want to make sure the militarization of the response here doesn't escape all critical scrutiny. Because if this kind of response becomes the norm, then perhaps the terrorists have won.
no disrespect, but you have to either be dishonest or an idiot to reduce this bombing to just the three that died. once again, no disrespect.
The killed MIT police officer. The wounded Boston transit cop They hurled grenades at police officers, shot at Police and the one dude ran over his brother in a car. There is video evidence of the kid in the white walking in formation with his brother both carrying backpacks and a picture showing white hat walking away from the bombing mins after the explosion with no backpack. Backpacks fit description. Oh, and they found a bunch of bombs at their home. We got the right guys.
Well the one brother had been here for a decade and the younger guy for about a year, it's not like they were fresh off the boat and had no idea what they were doing. Plus even say they were innocent and panicked so they what killed the MIT in self defense (which required a gun), hijacked a car that just happened to have grenades in it and had a shootout with the cops leading to the death of the older brother (who allegedly rushed the cops wearing a bomb strapped to his chest). Nah, it was them. I think the photos are proof enough, their actions following the bombing speak even louder.
