no, he isn't a kid. at the least, he is a young adult, but 19 is far from a kid, so no need to try and minimize his stage of life or maturity.
i am not trying to minimize anything.all i am saying is i doubt his stature,based on his age, was enough for him to have any info past what his brother told him. don't mistake that for me calling for mercy to be shown. couldn't be further from the truth.
You're right, being 19 he probably wasn't included into the heart of the matter. However I think there are some goodies to be had from sick little head of his. Names, places, accidentally overheard phrases.... With FBI resources even small things can be turned into leads.

Woke up early today and saw a news clip from boston showing people -appeared to be mostly youngans in front of a camera - celebrating....... Now that could be just a spot reaction or whatever but I turned to my wife and said u have got to be kidding. Seemed to be in poor taste to me. Shame on the celeb and shame on the media to show it.
U have to very careful here as many astute posters I am sure can reference many examples of unequal media attn given to any particular crime, regardless of who is involved. If anything nowadays, a crime against a non-Caucasian is more front and center where many public and political figures immediately delve into the difference in color/culture.
