People always seem to forget that WE are not the only team that has a draft class... Every other team improves by through the draft. Unless we have an absolutely amazing draft, we probably arent going to get much impact from them year 1. I mean lets look at the Seahawks draft class- arguably had the most production from rookies (also the Colts...)- Irvin, Wagner, Wilson and Turbin. Thats one of the best draft classes. Unless we get lucky with a QB like Wilson, its hard to envision a competitive team. Irvin was a good draft pick, but he was only a situation rusher. Turbin was good, but only in a limited role behind one of the best backs in the game. We have a young, inexperienced team and lack talent at a lot of positions.

Id be shocked it we have a better record than last year.

We will. Watch. I'm not saying we'll make the playoffs (probably won't due to some tiebreaker), but we're not going any less than 6-10.

If we don't get a QB like Smith or Manuel, then let the Tank for Teddy season begin. No stinking defenders in the first round!!!!!!! We need OOOOOOffense.

Actually, FOX is praying for the Sanchez to Tampa Bay deal. Week #1 at MetLife Stadium vs. Jets.

eh i think we'll surprise some people

some people think this team has way less talent than it actually does. like every team has its holes. like i don't want to be a total sanchez hater, but he SERIOUSLY and i mean SERIOUSLY hinders the offense. if david garrard or someone from the draft starts, i think we are an 8-8 team

Lol. Pit lost their entire team this offseason, pats going down at metlife, and we own Cincy. We split with saints and Falcons. 4-1.

Hate to say it but just by looking at our roster and this schedule, I see this team being 2-7/3-6 going into the bye. See Baltimore as a loss, at least one of the two Miami games as a loss, and at least one loss between OAK, CAR, and CLE. Predicting a 5-11 record.

    Week 1 vs Tampa Bay
Week 2 at New England (Thursday)
    Week 3 vs Buffalo
    Week 4 at Tennessee
    Week 5 at Atlanta (Monday)
    Week 6 vs Pittsburgh
    Week 7 vs Patriots
    Week 8 at Cincinatti
    Week 9 vs New Orleans
    Week 10 Bye
    Week 11 at Buffalo
    Week 12 at Baltimore
    Week 13 vs Miami
    week 14 vs Oakland
    Week 15 at Carolina
    Week 16 vs Cleveland
    Week 17 at Miami

dark green I'll call more than likely winnable, light green for games where they have a decent chance, black ill call a lost cause.

the fact that they have the Pats so early after their first game (I didn't even know they had thursday games that early) is sign enough to give them a chance to win.

I don't fear Miami, I think they're this years 2012 bills frankly, only I believe they'll win one or two more than they did They won't beat us bet on it, but come that last game we might have already beaten ourselves so thats why its in question. speaking of the bills, not scared in the slightest of them either.

pittsburgh, baltimore and Cincinnati are all up in the air, we should probably beat one of them at least, but who knows how things turn up, I question in particular if the ravens and steelers are due for decline. these games are crucial for wild card contention.

that last month is a godsend for a playoff run, if garrard or sanchez fall its the perfect line up for a rookie to step in and cement themselves, and frankly if they have 6 wins by then they'll have a good shot at the post season

its all contingent on how we come into that last month, who's at what place, who do the jets have tiebreakers with and etc.

the worst is over by the bye week, save for the ravens. has the pass rush improved, is the backfield as productive as they should be, is the QB low in turnovers? if yes, we'll have an unexpectedly good year, call it a 10 winner

if not count out all light greens and maybe another 2 winnable matches against us, for a record of 7-9/6-10

I don't see gang green going below what they did last year at all.

6 of the last 7 will be competitive game.

Ravens are still a bit of a mystery -- they had some turnover and weren't a great team last year..Flacco got hot in the playoffs and Ray Lewis was his old self.
