Looks a lot more like a "Z" or a "7" (for example) than a "3". It could also be an italics "T" half-black on the left, half-gray-type-shadow/shading on the right.

I cant imagine how many people walked past that area with a bag. Ever seen how many people carry a back pack through a city? About 40 percent. And this is a college town.

The guy in the white hat stands out too much. His cap is on backwards meaning the facial recognition routines will place him. He looks like a patsy to me and that probably also means not among us any more at this point.
For the record this is the Saudi who was a person of interest... does he look like he could be the white hat guy from the side?
Its obvious that ever single person in the blast area was a suspect. It just happens that guy is brown. I'd bet the media started that story.
