yep, go and win against arguably one of the hottest teams in the league in their building (ok maybe ours a little) and then lose to the friggin Flyers......unreal, but yet totally expected at the same time.

With this team clinging on life support again, it's clear that they're only going to last a week or so in the playoffs if they do make it in. Finish 8th, draw Pitt. Finish 7th, draw Montreal (house of horrors for the Rangers) or Boston. I'm not giving them more than a win in any of those series. 5 games max. I'm glad I missed a majority of the game last night. But from what I did see, I saw more than enough.

if they somehow get in I give them a punchers chance against Montreal or Boston, 0 against Pitt though. Honestly i don't see them getting in though..........they'll beat Fla, and lose to Buffalo........The effin Devils will be the one's who put the dagger in. We're going to have to root for the Isles to beat Winipeg at this point.

you guys sure about them beating florida? i'm not. last time out their backup goalie with no wins in his career under his belt shut the boys down.
fairly ugly evening that night. for me, this is the worst kind of team to support.
get a little high, then very low, no consistency. it's like i'm a talking doll and they keep pulling my string and i just spew forth balderdash, poppycock and horse feathers. i feel retarded rooting for these guys, they're god damn fucking me in the ass without the decency of vaseline. i swear it's a wonder i'm not on hard street narcotics or prescription drugs. this is a sordid situation right now, and i'm not in the mood to look forward to next year, i want them to do some damage now but to hope for that after their performance overall this year seems stupid. i'm not a throw in the towel give up kinda guy, never have been but my frustration is calling the shots on my mood concerning these buzzards. fuck!!! I say!

Believe me i know Fla is no gimme......no such thing with this team. They're definitely losing one of those Fla/Buff games, which if they were playing well would be relatively easy wins. They could very well lose both in which case, again, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. MR said Biron v Buffalo? so they better damn well beat Fla.

Andrew Gross ‏@AGrossRecord No Derek Dorsett, who's not cleared for contact, on ice. Staal seems to be going through the full practice

Hate this. I'm sure I'll go to one of the games but I hate the fact they're watering down an event that is more special than any regular season sporting event on the calendar. Total cash grab.

I had the privilege of going to the Winter Classic last year in Philly and it was the greatest single game I've ever been to. It literally felt like what I imagine going to a Super Bowl is like. Next year already has an exhibition feel to it, especially since the NHL couldn't decide which proximity rival to have the Rangers play at the Stadium.

    Kind of bums me out.

I still think we'll beat Pittsburgh, they're a bunch of pussies without the king pussy and Fleury is "meh". I want no part of Montreal though, they'll chew us up and spit us out in a seven game series.

Yeah but Iginla is no pussy and if he performs, look out.

Malkin can be a pussy and yes Crosby is the biggest pussy of them all.

I'm not too afraid of a 35-year old forward that's having visible difficulty adjusting to his new environment.

Pathetic performance last night. No one gave two fucks and every one sucked.

For those hoping we turn it on in the playoffs. Lets not forget one thing. We absolutely SUCKED in the playoffs last year. We played .500 hockey and somehow lucked out and got to the conference final. Our suckitude dates back to last year. We might have been the worst team to ever reach a conference final...ok, thats a bit overboard.....but not by much
