That's hilarious. I'm def Liking the less info being leaked and a more cerebral approach. I think the players also benefit from the lack of false bravado. All the talking we did was, it put a bullseye on our backs. Every team circles their week against us. Everyone knows the Jets have the media's eye's and ears but not the heart which currently belongs to the giants packers Indianapolis and the Broncos. Every player wants to bring their A game against is bcuz everyone was watching, well now things will go back to normal and we will sneakupon teams. Can't wait!
1st, I kind of like it this way. Let them continue the circus joke line while Jets are flying under the radar. 2nd, Ryan has 2 years left on the contract so don't count days till he's gone just yet.
It is also the off season guys. Let the season start and if we are below .500 and if still no leaks, I will say good job to Idzik and organization.
Fair enough. But you gotta admit if this was last year, Mehta would be posting recorded conversations between Woody, Idzik and Ryan regarding Revis.
^oh, i always thought that was a tongue in cheek comment. anyway, good to see its been reigned in.with how far off the reporters were on the g.m. source and the fact that they have yet to break any signings before the official word, i have been dismissing any "source quotes" as complete bullshit. woody has these guys scrambling and i love it.
Woody must be relishing how the media still gives the Jets attention, even when the organization remains silent. Probably is the best-case scenario for the franchise, and therefore, all of us.
So far, I like the John Idzik era. Unlike Tanny, Idzik keeps everything under the radar. I'm also glad Woody (apparently) learned his lesson, and knows that the media is not their friend at all. Hopefully, this "under the radar approach" will lead to wins.
Is easy for them to not have leaks during free agency and the weeks leading up to the draft? This is the time of year when reporters pump thier sources for information the most.
I was just thinking man, my Jets News apps havnt been going batshit crazy like always and there havnt been many updates ect... other than the Revis trade. I do agree that if things stay on course it will take another year to lose the "circus" stigma. But its really nice to NOT be the center of attention on every episode of NFL AM or Total Access starting with something sounding like "Well the Jets are at it again".
