If they give the Jets a home game to open the season, I'll say they open with New Orleans. The league would like the Ryan brothers opener. I think there's a good chance they open on the road though. They gave us a home game last year, that means they'll stick us with a road game to cater to the Giants. I'll go with @Cincinnati
Schedule was supposed to be released tuesday but it might be delayed. *update* schedule is coming this tuesday http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1600846-2013-nfl-schedule-critical-information-for-full-release
Week 1: @ Carolina Why: 1) Jets and Panthers finished with almost similar records so they figure this will be a competitive match. 2) Game needs to be on 1PM on CBS to not get in the way of Tennis. 3) Have opened at home for quite a bit in a row.... I think Giants start at home this year week 1 so that'll mean the Jets will be going on the road and will try and stop Cam Newton and company down in Carolina.
last 10 years: NYG opened at home: 2012 2010 2009 2008 2006 2005 2003 7 of the last 10 seasons they have opened at home NYJ opened at home: 2004 2007 2010 2011 2012 5 of last 10 seasons I think it can go either way
about what? not opening at home this year? I didn't say we would I just said I wouldn't rule it out b/c the Giants have opened at home more often.
