Good signing! It won't make our team improve leaps and bounds but at least he's an improvement over Eric Smith.

Too bad we didn't keep Yeremiah Bell around... I thought he was solid.

Yea. Looking at his stats, I'm not sure why he was let go. Unless he wanted too much money (In which case we wouldn't sign him), I can't think of why Jacksonville would ditch him.

Would have been nice to have the Landry Show in the secondary with Dawan and Laron. Especially everytime the Jets had overpronunciating Marv Albert calling games.

Excellent. While he probably won't be as good as his little brother, he'll still be serviceable and could prove to be very helpful in filling the secondary this year. I wonder what kind of deal we're talking about here.

Excellent. For a while it looked like Jets would be forced to double down on Safety this draft just to get the bodies out there to start & have depth.

Very happy with this acquisition. He's not going to lead the Jets to the SB & he's unlikely to make the Pro Bowl. But he gives the Jets more freedom this draft. Also, maybe Jets get lucky and turn out one more great season from another Landry.

So far Idzik has been showing us good sense on these FA contracts. I'm expecting good vibes once the official numbers are put out there.

The best part of this signing is that the official nyj twitter account was the first to report it.

    Very pleased.
Dawan will have a desire to live up to a legacy, which is fantastic.

Still think the best signing by miles might be Idzik.

Yeah, very interested to see what the terms will be.

It could change the likelihood of a Revis trade.
