    Again, with the Tennesee game?

Someone please post the receiving stats from that game?

How about the elimination game in Seattle, with Favre running the show...

    Oy.

14-10 game. Did Sanchez also miss the tackle on Johnsons 94 yard TD run?

When your boy throws four interceptions (including one in triple coverage) and fumbles after a gift punt against a bad team like Tennessee, he isn't a viable starter.

I am honestly still shocked you're defending him. You must be on meth.

Sanchez gave up a 99 yd TD? that's the play that ended our season and got NYG on track.

We weren't going anywhere in 2012, he was awful most of the year especially at Ten.

My point is youre giving him too much credit for those playoff games, the team as a whole got it done in the wins and Sanchez failed to bring us back in both AFCCGs. Hes not as clutch as u say he is.

Tenn was a team loss. The defense allowed a TD for 94 yards.

Sanchez played like crap, but...who was he supposed to be throwing the ball to?

Cumberland led all receivers with 4 catches. Edwards, signed that week....caught 3.

Real tough game for the Defense.

Go read the stat line meth head. Given the receiving corps, unless youre in the film room...its not quite a certainty, that the offense was executed correctly.

Not to excuse his performance by any means, but...after all he fumbled the snap that Powell kicked away, when they were in a position to win...

But every INT is not a product of the QB, and any reasonable look at that weeks roster, sort of removes the ability to place it all on the QB. There are many other games, where its more than fair.

The point is Tenn. isnt one of them. No more no less.

What world must you be living in where you look at WRs stat sheets in order to bail out the QB throwing them the ball?

    Strong football analysis

By the way, Jeff Cumberland, Braylon and Kerley all played in that game.

I give him proper credit, I never said he carried us but he played well and elevated his game. W/o his quality play we don't win those games. We see every year supposed top QBs get into postseason and play poorly to cost their team games, we never saw that w/ mark in January. At times in the reg season we have but never in January.

Where was the clutchness on Xmas eve '11? @NE in OT? @TEN with the season on the line? Why is it that when Sanchez fails to come up in a big spot it doesnt affect his "clutch" status?

Why does he get the clutch label when he failed to lead us to victory twice in the AFCCG? When the defense lets the team down he gets a pass?

Alas! Too bad he'll never make it another January as a starter in the NFL again!! You can hang your hat on how "clutch" he was forever...

To have an opportunity to be "clutch", it helps if you aren't god awful almost every regular season game.

He's not even going to have the opportunity again to be called "clutch". He's getting too heavy to be carried by his defense and running game all regular season and playoffs again..

The defense let up Tebows TD run. And a 99 yard pass play to cruz in 2010.

They also allowed a 94 yard td in the Tenn game, which we lost by 4.

he didn't play well vs. NYG against a D that would lead that team to a SB a few weeks later but he did have us up 7-3 which would have been more if the D doesn't allow NINETY NINE YD TD PASS on 3rd and 10 late in the 1st half.

He led us back from 10 pts down at NE and gave us a 3 pt lead which the D then blew.

Maybe not here w/ this roster but he'll get a shot somewhere down the road and we'll all whine about "how did we let him go".

You can't win as many games as he has if you are "god awful", this year was the only year he was awful and we went 6-10.

It's funny how the D always gets a pass. We are supposed to be a D first team, a team led by a top defense but do top defenses consistently blow late leads? give up 99 yd TD passes? 13 mi drives to Matt Moore? 95 yd drives to QBs who can't throw in the final minutes? etc...

God forbid the defense give up a TD now and again...

Mark Sanchez himself had a combined 9 turnovers in the three games you mention.

You don't really recognize those games as ones in which the defense lost them, you are simply trolling. Stick to blaming coordinators before the defense. Maybe Genius Morningweg can use his mind control on Mark Sanchez and tell him something nobody has ever told him before - to protect the football.

Typical Junc bullshit... blame the defense.
At least you recognize the atrocity that was Sanchez in 2012, especially in the most 'clutch' moment. MNF in an elimination game against a terrible team.

Somehow I don't think that's going to happen. Haha.
Does Houston whine about letting David Carr go? Not so much.

Don't you know that this team is "defensive oriented" so that means that anything less than a shut out is the defense choking...(either way, even if the defense DID pitch a shut out, Mark Sanchez would be called clutch when the Jets win that game)

The D didn't just give up Tds they gave up game changing/momentum changing TDs. Did mark play a role in those losses? of course he did but to absolve the D is silly and misinformed.

It's ok for you to blame it all on the QB but facts thrown back at you about the D get you upset? Nowhere have I ever said he doesn't deserve some blame but he doesn't deserve all the blame like you guys want to give him.

Who did he have to throw to in that MN game? and our D faced an awful offense and gave up 2 TDs including a 90+ yd back breaking TD.

We score to take 3-0 lead, after our next possession we pin Ten at their 5, D allows 94 yd TD on 2nd down.

we score TD to take 10-7 lead, 3 mins later Ten scores a TD to take 14-10 lead. That doesn't sound like good D to me.

AGAIN, he was awful in 2012. There's no debating that but he also didn't have help. when we were relatively healthy early in the year he was much better.

I must have been asleep when David Carr was winning playoff games.

nah, our D is legendary. Like the '85 Bears, '00 Ravens or '02 Bucs. If only we had a better QB we'd be on 4 SB titles and counting w/ our great D!

So mr. clutch didn't have it in him to overcome a 3 point deficit in the first half? What was he completely devastated by the 10 points the Giants put on the board? Really?

    What a joke.

That 99 yd TD changed everything, it was only a 3 pt deficit but it was at least a 10 pt swing and a punch to the gut of the Jets. The Giants were floundering and ready to ne put to sleep but that one play changed everything.

AGAIN(for those who struggle w/ reading comprehension) I have never said mark didn't deserve his share of the blame. The point is it was not all his fault, you guys solely blame him.

They were ready to be put to sleep? What do you think we're talking about the WWF or something? NFL teams don't give up when they go down 2 scores in the first half. Apparently you think it's a good excuse to blame the defense when a team goes down 3 points in the first half though.

It was a 3 point deficit in the first half. Mr. clutch should have been able to overcome that.
