The more I watch of the guys I consider the top three QBs, the less differences I see ... Which is why I I'm secretly hoping for EJ to the jets in round two at the end of the month lol
To just assure ourselves here, it is very realistic that the certain player falls like he did, but then the team trades up to draft him. Since there's no trades, the team that does draft him soon could be seen as the team to have traded up (which would only slightly change the overall draft). EJ is one of my favorites as well. Love him as a developmental QB to sit for a year. In Jax its a solid position because he there's no rush for him to get in there. It can also give Jax a little more time to see if Blaine Gabbert is total shit or not.
Yea I mentioned this already, if this did happen teams would be moving back into the first to get that five year contract.
I agree with you on the Jets drafting EJ in the 2nd. I would love if we traded back up into the 1st and got "the falling player", but who knows if he'll even fall
Oh shit, for some reason I was thinking Jax.. whoops :X But even better with the Eagles. Fits Chip's offense perfectly and can sit behind Vick for a year... haha
Yeah, I think so too. I doubt he'll even make it to 9. But like you've said, it all depends on teams draft boards and who's available at their pick.
EJ'S in Philly....which means Foles gets dealt on draft day which is a mistake but could happen in a new regime. CLE would be over Foles or JAX. Or SEA if Foles goes cheap. He did a decent job last year given the circumstances. It all comes down to draft styles I guess as far as taking who but I was just shocked of the pick. Not a fan as I want production from my QB in college but he's got some kind of upside. NYJ Is setup so nice right now...few ways you can go JTJ.
I'd be absolutely stoked if it fell this way. Some of my favorite players are available still and could be absolutely huge additions to the offense.
CIN's gonna take a player of need from NYJ....depends who DET takes though. Jets with Marty M. would take Foles for a 4th. TB another good match with Freeman as a FA to be and would want more than he's worth.
